Edelnice Trachtenmode2-Piece Dirndl Dress Authentic Bavarian Floral Exlusive

This is a really nice quality dirndl, especially for the price point. I'm of German descent, though this is my first experience with tracht/dirndl. So while I don't have much to compare it to, I can say this does not seem costume-y in the least. I'd also say that the picture on the listing doesn't really do it justice; the dress is much nicer in person. I agonized over the sizing before heeding the many reviews that advised sizing up. As other reviews have recently noted, sizing up may not be necessary. I am 5'4", around 123-125 lbs., and a 32D. I almost always wear a US size 6, (occasionally a size 4), and carry most of my weight on my bottom half. I originally ordered a 38 (US 8) and it was absolutely huge, gapping at the bust and just generally too big all over. The size 36 (US 4/6) is just right. It's snug but not restrictive in the bodice (as it should be), and forgiving and comfortable in the skirt portion of the dress (the better to accommodate Bier and Wurst). Other reviewers have commented that the ribbon on the bodice is a brighter green than the picture on the listing. The first dress (size 38) had a chartreuse ribbon that was indeed much brighter than the rest of the dress. The second dress I ordered (size 36) had more of a sage/mint green ribbon that blends in more with the floral fabric of the dress. Both were a very simple, inexpensive satin ribbon that could easily be upgraded with a nicer quality ribbon (perhaps velvet?). Also, I agree with another review that stated that the dress is maybe a little darker than it appears on the listing -- and I, personally, like it that way. I did also buy a dirndl bra shaper undergarment to go with this dress  BOOLAVARD Women's Magic Bra Shaper Vest Breast Support (Medium / 4, Nude) , and I'm glad I did. It helps achieve the right look, without making the effect at all tacky. Overall, I'm very happy with this dirndl. Is it one of those gorgeous drool-worthy numbers you see on Pinterest or on German sites that cost four or more times what this one does? No. But it definitely exceeded my expectations and I'm excited to wear it for Oktoberfest-themed events now, and hopefully for years to come.

The quality of the dirndl was as expected.- Upper bodice nice thickness.- Lower skirt portion was a slight bit thinner than expected but still nice. I was not aware that the floral pattern and brown fabrics were sewn together in the front and layered in the back.- apron was thin, but nice.All in all it is a good quality for the price and 10 times better than the other dirndl that I returned.Sizing... I am a big girl, 5' 9", 220lbs with 38DD and I normally wear a size 18 dress. I was going to follow the recommendation of other reviews and order a size up, but they didn't have the next size up. So I took a chance and ordered my normal size 18/48 and I was glad I did. The dress was perfect in the main bodice, but I found it to be a little loose in the bust area. When I put on a padded pushup bra it filled the gap perfectly.Length... It is not midcalf, but I am 5' 9" and expected it to be a little shorter. For me it comes just below the knee and is acceptable.

Got this for our annual Oktoberfest party. It worked great! The chest/vest material is very good and has a cute pattern. The skirt part (it’s all connected) is not as good in terms of quality but the whole thing together was beautiful. Would def buy again!

Not a costume. The quality of the fabric is suitable to fit right in with the girls at Oktoberfest in Munich. This is not that cheap-cotton-thin fabric. The detail is extraordinary and authentic. Apron is gorgeous. The best part: true to size. Many dirndls I've purchased are tight in the bust and rib cage...I mean you'll break an arm to get it on, as they have no give - and you can count on alterations. This sizing was dead on. Danke!

It’s a poly blend and light but very well made. I want another but in a deferent color!

This is absolutely beautiful. I purchased to wear to Octoberfest Cincinnati. The stitching is high quality. It is authentic and labels read in German. Very cool. I am disappointed that I have to return it because it did not fit me across the chest. I wear a size 4 pants with a 27" waist and my bust is a 38DD. I normally wear a 8 in dresses because I have broad shoulders and bigger chest. I ordered a 38 based on the sizing chart. I needed one size up. Also, I did not fully read that the blouse did not come with the dress. I thought I was getting what the pictured showed so I didn't read to carefully. Also, I am only 5'2" it was about 4" based my knee caps. Overall, the quality for the price is a great deal!!

Very good and possible the only true plus size dirndl on Amazon. Great fabric on the bust and great details. Only thing that could be better is the skirt material, very cheap and blah. Otherwise great buy. Truly fits like a 22-24. Very flattering shape

All of my other dresses are the same exact size but the waist/ bust area of this dress is a little bit more snug than i am comfortable with! such a bummer. its a very pretty dress and the top fits great, bottom: great, middle: tight tight tight. uujjghg

Den einen Stern bekommt das Dirndl selbst. Es passt wie erwartet. Trage sonst eine 38 und die hat auch sehr gut gepasst.Leider kam das Dirndl ohne Bluse, welche aber in meiner Bestellung dabei sein sollte!Die wenigen Punkte muss ich wirklich ausschließlich aufgrund des unglaublich unfreundlichen Kundenservices von "EdelniceTrachtenmoden" vergeben. Ich habe mehrmals versucht die Bluse noch nachzuordnern, weil mir das Dirndl wirklich gefallen hat aber bei den ersten Versuchen bin ich an völlig unpersönlichen Rückantworten gescheitert und als ich dann persönlich abgerufen habe, wollte die Damen mir mehrfach klarmachen, dass keine Bluse in dem Angebot dabei wäre und sie mir nur eine nachsenden, wenn ich das Dirndl auch wirklich behalte. Als ich dann mehrfach darauf hingewiesen habe das in meiner Bestellbestätigung aber auch "3-teilig + Bluse" steht und ich ein Rückgaberecht habe und mich doch nicht unter Druck setzen lasse, hat sie sich darauf eingelassen mir eine Bluse nachzusenden. Die absolute Frechheit war dann, als ich ein paar Stunden nach dem Telefonat eine Nachricht erhielt mit dem Inhalt: "Wie telefonisch besprochen, können wir Ihnen keine Bluse nachsenden. Bitte bestellen Sie separat eine." Das war der Gipfel und für mich klar, das Dirndl geht zurück.Habe bereits einen sehr schönen Ersatz gefunden, um mich nicht länger zu ärgern.Der Service ist unter aller Kanone. Im Anhang noch ein Screenshot auf dem man ja wohl mehr als deutlich sieht was im Lieferumfang enthalten sein sollte!

Leider muss ich dieses Dirndl sehr schlecht bewerten, was nur daran liegt, dass das Dirndl nicht so geliefert wird, wie es in der Produktbeschreibung beschrieben ist! Laut Produktbeschreibung wird die Bluse mitgeliefert und gehört zum Dirndl dazu! Allerdings wurde die Bluse nicht mitgeliefert und auf telefonische Nachfrage beim Verkäufer wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die Bluse nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist! Allerdings habe ich das Dirndl in 2 Größen bestellt, bei dem Dirndl, welches mir leider nicht passt ist die Bluse dabei, bei dem Dirndl dass mir passt, ist keine Bluse dabei! Beim Kundenservice des Verkäufers wird mir relativ deutlich und nicht gerade kundenfreundlich mitgeteilt, dass es falsch beschrieben ist und dass keine Bluse dazugehört! Ich habe nachgefragt, ob mir die Bluse nachträglich zugesendet werden kann, weil das Dirndl ja auch so beschrieben ist. Darauf lässt sich der Verkäufer nicht ein! Absolut unverschämt! Habe mitgeteilt, dass ich das Problem als Rezension eintrage, interessiert den Verkäufer allerdings nicht! Kunde wird getäuscht und somit ist der Kauf leider nicht zu empfehlen! Ein sehr schönes und edles Dirndl. Es passt wunderbar und trägt sich angenehm auf der Haut. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig. Schade nur, das die Bluse nicht dabei ist, aber die steht auch nicht explizitit in der Beschreibungmit dabei. Bei dem Preis ist es völlig okay. Von meiner Seite her, gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Lieferung war schnell, im Gegensatz zu anderen Angeboten.

Das Dirndl hat tolle Farben, wirkte dennoch nicht sehr hochwertig. Bluse ist nicht mit gesendet worden obwohl diese laut Artikel Beschreibung enthalten sein sollte! Selbst auch der Plastikfolie des Kleides steht mit Bluse! Ich hab's umgehend zurück gesendet und mich für ein anderes entschieden, sehr schade!

Das Kleid kam bei uns völlig zerdrückt in einer viel zu kleinen Plastiktüte (evtl. aus Retoure?) an. Zum Anziehen muss der Reißverschluß VORN am Kleid geöffnet werden, die Kette gelöst werden und die Bindung geöffnet werden. Die Haken für die Bindung sind mit etwas mehr als einer heißen Nadel befestigt. Welche Frau hat nicht lieber den Reißverschluß hinten und braucht nicht lange Zeit um sich dieses Kleid anzuziehen.
