Proctor-Silex Single-Serve Plus Coffee Maker (49969)

Using standard K-Cups it is slow (4minute brew cycle) but effective. If you're more frugal and environmentally conscious, and you wish to brew single serve with your own ground coffee, BEWARE!! It doesn't fit a Keurig My-Kcup or generic copy of one, and the brew basket it comes with will pour coffee and grounds all over the place if you put so much as a pinch too much coffee in it to brew. Poorly designed brew system tries to shove almost all of the brew water through the filter/grounds in the final 12 seconds of the 4 minute brew cycle and there's no seal to allow for that kind of flow/pressure. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.

This is a very poorly made product for the price. It is completely plastic, much of which is ridiculously flimsy and just doesn’t look safe enough to even plug in. I ran initial water through The unit to clear the mfg taste and after 3 runs my cup filled at 3 different levels and quite a noticeable distance between levels??? The smaller cup adapter is so flimsy I expect the cup to slip off during the brew process. I say this because during start up, the cup was moving on the lower tray. Don’t bother. You can get MUCH better quality for little money more.

The machine does not make the water hot! I would rather have a immersion heater to make a cup of coffee. Very disappointed! Also the plastic bags were not sealed.... Was mine a returned item?

Works perfectly, don't like the part you press down on before you brew, hard to get back up. Other than that no problem.

Over priced firstly, and the k-cups are difficult to put in and snap on. Mostly doesn’t snap on and the k-cup ends up warped. Better off buying a single serve kuerig coffee maker priced a little higher but works much better. To flimsy.
