My 70 pound 2 year old German shepherd loves this! It’s basically a giant cat toy, but built for a dog. We are able to play tug without any issue. She loves to chase and jump for the toy as well. It seems well made, but might be torn apart more quickly if you leave your dog alone with it. It wore my dog out quickly and she was much more interested in this than traditional fetch. Highly recommend!

We got this for our very active 5 month old pug puppy named Hardy. He loves to chase and play tug so this was perfect for him. It allows us to give him a lot of exercise while not running us ragged! The pole and rope / soft end are quite sturdy and would work well with larger breeds as well. Pugs are strong little guys so as Hardy grows I’m sure the pole will be able to handle the increased weight of his tug. This product is much more substantial than expected so I’m sure it will last for a long time and withstand a lot of fun!

I got this for my puppy and I can say that it’s the best purchase we have made. Keeps him busy and chasing for 30 minutes then he passes out. Well made and easy to clean.

Love how easily my puppy adapted to playing with this flirt pole! I could have awarded 5 stars. It’s sturdy, well made and well thought out, except for one detail. The loop at the end is large enough for my pup’s lower jaw to go through and get caught in it. I must pay attention to how that loop is positioned to keep from injuring him when his teeth catch it. If there’s a way to remedy this I’m open to suggestions. Otherwise, it’s great.

We’ve had this flirt pole for about 2.5 years. This thing has survived german shepherd puppyhood and teenaged antics, too heavy improvised flirts, and way too intense tug. The top only just came off but easily goes back on and stays on unless we play tug. The whole pole is still usable—and the original braided flirt has completely survived. Very impressed and worth every penny. I’ll probably get another one in the future, but ours is still going strong.
