This is an excellent book of scale exercises for beginning and intermediate violiists. The publisher and the cover of this book is different than that shown, but it is the same excellent book.

My daughter's violin teacher integrates these scales/arpeggios in her weekly lessons. Really enhances her understanding of the key signatures and overall musicianship.
