happy pup and happy mom
helped with training my puppy. He was only 3 lb when I started training and other treats were causing weight gain and not eating his healthy food. This filled the bill for me. Also easy to carry without smelling like dog food.

Wanted to love it, but he didn't
I was really excited to use this with my small dog, who is allergic to many treats on the market. He likes to lick things, and I have tried a different kind of licky treat with him that he enjoys, I was just looking for different flavors to mix it up. Sadly, it is a very stiff, dried out and rubbery kind of treat and although he tried to lick at it a few times, he would then sit back again and wait for me to actually give him something. The other lick treats we have tried, a bit of it stays on his tongue as he licks it, so he is content that he received a treat and will then walk away when released. I tried offering it to my parents' small dog and had the same experience, of her licking and then sitting back and waiting for me to just give it to her. Now neither will even try to lick it (she gave up on it faster than my dog did).Pros;-Small, easy to carry (same size as a chapstick)-Not at all messy-Multiple flavors available-Low allergy risk (gluten/grain free, no egg or dairy)Cons;-Very stiff/rubbery texture, so not much for a dog to actually feel like they are getting a treat, as it seems like the taste does not stay on their tongue-My dog quickly lost interest in the product-I do not think this size would be good for larger dogs, as it is only the size of a chapstick and I think it would be easy for them to take it out of the hand, if they were prone to that kind of behavior.I know the pros list is longer - believe me I really like the idea of this product, it's just that if a dog isn't going to be content with licking it, so does not feel like he is actually being treated, then it defeats the purpose.

Leanlix Littlelix treats
I've used other "lickable" treats with great success and thought these would be great to take on walks and use while grooming. The tubes are meant to work by twisting the bottom to push the treat up and out the top. Two of the three tubes in my package didn't work at all.

The larger size is better, even for small dogs
I have a 6 pound Shih Tzu. I originally bought the large size of this product, also sold on Amazon. Both Godzilla and I love it. Then I noticed that the company offers this product, marketed towards "Small Dogs". Thinking this would be ideal for him, I bought it.I do like that this package came with three flavors, and also that it is very easy to transport. The tubes are "chapstick" tubes and easy to stick in your pocket when heading to the park. But my dog prefers the large size. He goes crazy licking it. I don't think he gets enough "taste" from the smaller size. I mean, this chapstick size stick is really tiny. Maybe good for a hamster. What I like about these lickable sticks is that your dog will hold still while enjoying this treat. If you feed your dog "bits" type treats, then the dog takes it from your hand and can move away while he eats. With this treat, dog is motivated to keep his head (and body) wherever the stick is so he can keep licking. This makes this treat exceptional for when you need groom doggie or clean his ears.I highly recommend the large size of this product!

Puppy treat
My new yorkie puppy enjoys these lickable treats. She hates to have a harness put on and these work well to distract her while I'm placing it on her. She enjoys all 3 flavors. I enjoy them as they are easy to carry around without a mess.

dogs loved it, but it was like hard chapstick
Hmmm...dogs loved it, but it was like hard chapstick. Never got through a tube. I like to reward my dogs, but not make them fat. We have little chihuahuas and it only takes a few too many treats to start packing on the pounds. But I felt more like I was teasing my dogs with the scent than rewarding them.

Great idea, but not enticing enough
My Portuguese Water Dog is a garbage disposal--he loves all treats. But although he was intrigued by the smell of these, he couldn't get enough flavor from licking them and quickly lost interest. I haven't met any other dogs who even bothered to try a lick. Which is terribly unfortunate, because I so wanted these to work.
