I have used these windsocks for about ten years. We are on a ranch in an area where the wind can reach 60 or 70 miles an hour on a bad day. On one particular windy day, when it felt like our buildings were going to blow away, I looked out the window to see which direction the wind was blowing from. To my surprise the wind had blown away the windsock. It was just gone. But it was getting ratty looking and pretty beat up. As a lesson learned it is a good idea to have an extra sock on hand if the one in place starts looking faded and worn after a few years. it will have to be replaced so it might as well be done proactively rather than weight for the mail man to show up. I love your products. This one with the ball bearing mounting is great!

It was what I ordered. It when on hell-o-pad.

Wanted a quality windsock for our flying field and found this. Very high quality especially the ball bearing base. Slightest breeze and it spins in the right direction. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality US made product. Just need to supply the pole. I used a 10’ stick of 3/4” Rigid conduit. Screwed right on it!

**Updated review 1 year later: The wind sock is destroyed into shreds within 13 months in the Florida sun. Not a real airport windsock. Too bad :( ***Old review from when I first got it: Very nice and I like it overall but i no likey how the sock mounts. That could be improved. It don't sit as nice as it could. It seems the sock department did not coordinate with the frame department. Sock mounts with zip ties but doesn't seem to have a set correct mounting format. It's trial and error to get to sit right. The sock ring is also larger than the metal ring so it almost never lines up. I had to go on a zip tie parade to make it look decent. The 2 seam on the sock doesn't line up with the installation. You would think the seam goes in the left and right so it could hang down nice with no wind but it sits uneven on the mount. Come on guys fix these small items and you got a perfect sock.
