This tool comes with a large number of accessories and heats to the cutting temperature in about 20 seconds. It is temperature adjustable and enables professional cutting of foam products. We used it for mounting joist hangers on ICF foundation walls and probably logged 20 hrs of use. It is still as good as new. Very pleased with its quality and completeness (case, accessories and instructions).

Easy to use this electric cutter. Made a difficult job simple, cut numerous large grooves in the blue foam insulation 3.5"x4" to allow water to flow under concrete pads.

The only inconvenient is the blade easily get dirty , you need to clean a lot off times

I was hopeful that this tool would cut through 6" panels of EPS but it does not get hot enough to cut the foam easily. At first it worked ok on 3" panels but then the trigger light started flickering and the knife cooled off. There could be a connection problem inside the tool, I've tried all the accessories which would work great if the knife got hot and stayed hot. I wish I could return it but my window has passed. I'm hesitant to try again with a similar knife, 200 W may not be enough for my purposes...

We use this at the construction sight for cutting foam, works great! Even bought a second one, they hold charge, and are cordless. Overall a good purchase.

Works like a warm knife on hot butter, but the blades warp no matter how carefully you use them. Frustrating when trying to do a clean cut. BE SURE TO USE THIS IN A GARAGE OR OUTDOORS WITH MAJOR VENTILATION!! Even small trims, stink and have nasty vapors. But this thing works for sure and fast even on big thick pieces !

Works as advertised and expected. Like the adjustable heat. Seems to be built solid.

Knife works very well

Cuts styrofoam easily. Was able to make some custom profiles that I needed with the sled attachment. It could use some more instructions with suggestions on how to set up and use the sled attachment(s). It would be nice if you could also use the sled attachment as a guide to create a straight cut using a normal blade. There might be a way, but I haven't figured it out.

It got too hot in the knife would bend and go out of shape real quickly I did my best with the adjustment of the Heat tried it more than once and I didn't like the item the knife is too thin or the adjustment is too hard to set the right temperature
