This book is quite large and I found my lecturer only used about half, but that can also be a plus!

Nice textbook that came as expected

Very good book. top quality for both content and printing. But mine is not very strong in the binding. I am afraid it will collapse one day...

This book is written by the Gods of the subject. All the authors are bio-engineers or working as researchers in the bio-engineering & bio-sciences department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the world's best research institution and other top research institutes and colleges. The knowledge that they have passed down in this book is their years of effort put into research in the domain of molecular cell biology. For me this book is an investment, to improve my knowledge base and understanding of molecular cell biology, as this is where the fight against disease, including cancer, is being waged now. I highly recommend this book for practising bio-engineers, bio-science researchers, professionals working in the life science industry looking to upgrade their knowledge about cell biology, students who aspire to learn in-depth about cell biology and for others the prerequisite you need to have a good knowledge and understanding about biochemistry and basic biology, before you start reading this book. This book is the "Global Edition" of the original 2016 US edition of "Molecular Cell Biology". Unlike most other books, the global edition has retained all the features of the original US edition which justifies the price. It is not like the low cost re-printed version of the original foreign book. This global edition has coloured illustrated diagrams and pictures, oil printed glossy pages. etc. The original US edition is really expensive (>15k INR) for purchasing in India and I am happy they have a global edition with same features at reduced cost. Lastly thanks to Amazon India for delivery of the book before time and excellent packaging with multi-layers cardboard and plastic wrapping to protect during transportation delivery from seller.
