Outstanding! The best fix for inoperable leg length difference.
My right leg is 1 5/8" shorter than my left leg due to a car accident. A young lady in a car pulled out from behind a van in front of my motorcycle. After always having my boots/shoes modified for the last couple of decades at costs ranging from $40 to $100, and after trying orthopedic heel lifts that end up goofing up your metatarsal, I stumbled onto these here on Amazon. I've never been able to go above about 3/4 inch on a lift as my ankles are very weak. For $20 I figured I couldn't go far wrong, so I ordered the 1" full length inserts. These inserts taper in a linear manner from the toe to the heel. They are drilled out in dozens of places from the bottom, and end up plenty strong to support my weight, but light as a feather and more flexible than my shoes. With the inserts tapering all the way from front to back, my foot sits in my boot almost perfectly normally. I am able to lace the boot to normal tightness, and it doesn't pull down in the middle of my foot because the support is everywhere it should be. The end result is that both feet are comfortable in my shoes, and when I walk I don't feel like I'm always stepping in a hole on the right side. Amazing!I'm using lace & zipper combat/hiking style boots with this lift in the right boot, and Dr Scholl's inserts in both boots. (I'm partial to the gel inserts) I've learned to lace the boots in sections with a square knot in the laces in between so I can have the boot tight at the very bottom, looser across the metatarsal, then a bit tighter again on top. The zipper entry allows the fancy lacing to stay in place when I take the boots off. Now, with these inserts, I may not need to do that anymore!Summary: It's a GREAT deal! You get a 1 inch lift for $20, notwithstanding that you throw away the lift for the other shoe. This is the best thing to happen to my ability to walk in 20 years. (If someone reading this has a shorter LEFT leg, email me and I'll mail you the left insert.)The simple solutions are sometimes the very best. Thanks, Liftkits!!

Used for leg discrepancy
I used these lifts for a length discrepancy on my left leg. After ~3 months of daily wear I can note:-Comfort 8/10, good bounce ability, good support, if your foot doesn't slide around then comfort is there.- Fit 6/10, These were designed for max size mens 10.5. I wear a size 12 shoe and these still fit. When buying any shoe you need to have space for the insert and your foot, recommend bringing the insert with you to the shoe store. It does make buying shoes very difficult.-Effectiveness 9/10, At the end of the day this lift does truly even out my hips and I can wear it all day long.

Heels come out of your shoes
My husband bought these trying to make himself a little bit taller, but couldn't use them in his shoes. The idea sounds good, but in reality the shoes will not stay on because your foot has been elevated causing your heels to come out of your shoes and the vamp becomes too tight. He tried these with several different types of shoes and they wouldn't work. When he tried walking around with them in his shoes, he looked like a little kid trying to walk in his parents shoes. It looked hilarious :) Maybe, if you bought shoes to try to fit with the lifts in it might work? Looks like he's going to have to resort to platform shoes if he wants to look taller. He's not even that short, he's 5'9" or 5'10".

LiftKits Men's Inserts 1 inch
These Lift Inserts are marketed to give you more height, but I bought these for my husband who has heel spur pain. He tried other insoles and heel cups specifically for heel pain, but they didn't work. These are working great. After a few days, His pain has subsided and he's able to walk again. I had the same problem and I remembered that wearing heels, rather than a flat shoe, subsided the pain. If you're a man having heel pain, try the 1" LiftKits, they're great.

My bad.
The inserts are as described on web site but just a little bit big. Bigger than I thought they would be. My bad.

Well constructed and fit nicely in my size 9 shoes
Well constructed and fit nicely in my size 9 shoes. They work best in shoes a little higher at the ankle. Also with thin socks and a little looseracross the bridge (laces) for the most comfortable fit. Gives me that little extra height for when my girl wears heels, lol.
