Creative CBT Interventions for Children with Anxiety

Book aligns well with CBT model!
As a Psychiatric NP who works with many anxious children and is certified in TF-CBT, I love how this book follows the CBT model so closely in terms of the different stages of therapy and yet keeps it simple and super organized for the reader. It also offers such creative interventions that actually makes the work fun for the clinician and family. Specifically, I love the action cards and "Bug Off" activity that addresses helpful versus unhelpful thoughts and have found this useful for kids to change their relationship with worry, regardless of what the worry is about.

Excellent resource for child therapists who work with anxiety!
As a child and family therapist that works with anxiety all day, I love this book! Liana's interventions are creative and comprehensive and help address anxiety in new and engaging ways for kids. I really appreciate the resources for parents, as their role is vital in helping children overcome anxiety. As always, this resource is well organized and the activities are easy to find and execute. I would highly recommend this book for any therapist working with children and teens who are struggling with anxiety. I also recommend checking out Liana's other books. All her books are helpful, comprehensive, and serve as great resources for any clinician.

A Wonderful Resource for All Therapists!
As a licensed professional counselor one of the most common "presenting problems" for children coming into therapy is anxiety. Liana's book, Creative CBT Interventions for Children With Anxiety is a must have! The book could actually be worked through session-by-session, or the activities can be used in a stand-alone format, depending on the specific situation of the child. The book is thoughtful, courageous, and full of strength-building opportunities for children dealing with the bully of anxiety!

Excellent resource
This book is comprehensive, user-friendly, and a great asset to my work as a graduate school professor for therapists and as a clinician. The interventions are thoughtful and effective, and the format makes it easy to use and to understand the theoretical foundation. I love Liana Lowenstein's books and consider them an essential part of my counseling library.

Helpful for therapists only buy 1 of the 3
Good book with helpful games to use in Therapy that will save a therapist time in trying to reinvent the wheel. My only complaint is I could have bought 1 of the 3 books and saved money because she repeats a lot of the information. So save money only pick one of the three
