Way too big and very thin material!
I purchased this to hold up some white thigh highs I had purchased separately. I did read the reviews before purchasing and saw that it fit a bit larger than expected, so I ordered a size down from what I would normally purchase and it was STILL too big. I recommend ordering 2 sizes down from what you usually wear.Also, based on the photo of the product you cannot tell it is extremely thin - made from the same material as tights, so if you are expecting this garter to hold your pooch in a bit on the bottom, you can move on to the next garter belt because this will certainly not do the job.Lastly, the clips on the bottom would not work with the banded thigh highs I was using. I had assumed it would since the model in the photo seems to also be wearing banded thigh highs. It's possible mine were defective, I suppose.Overall, I would recommend this product with the warning of the thin material and ordering a size down.

Ginormous and Chintzy
Take the advice from most of the other low score reviews: Order at least 1 size down, maybe 2.I usually wear XXL/1X/2X (sometimes 3X depending on the manufacturer) in all lingerie I've bought on Amazon. I ordered this in XXL and it's so oversized it resembles a skirt rather than a belt. With the straps adjusted as short as possible, I had to pull it up to my chest to get it to sit where it's supposed to while still making the garter straps taut, and even then it fit too loosely to stay there. Also, the clasps are made of a very cheap, brittle plastic. One of the clasps on mine broke trying it on the first time. The straps are removable, at least. That's... something.

Look elsewhere
This looks as nice as can be until you try to fasten stockings to it and the cheapo plastic clips warp and pop off. The straps are so long that your stockings will rest somewhere around your knees unless you are well over 6 feet tall. It's such a pity because the garter belt itself looked really nice. I finally got fed up with fiddling about with the cheap plastic clasps for half an hour with my boyfriend outside of the door pestering me about whether or not I finally had the thing on that I just poked holes in my stockings and just ran the straps through the holes and tied them in a knot. Real sexy.

Cute, not super functional.
Okay, so typically with lingerie on amazon, you have to size up. That is not the case with this, you could probably get away with sizing down. It's cute, it's not power mesh or anything. It's not super practical for daily wear, it's better lingerie than it is for wearing out and about. I wore it out to dinner with family and had to reclip one of the straps like three times.

Lovely, & very soft, but order at least 2 sizes smaller than sizing recommendations. If it fit it would be a 5 Star
Way too big, could put 2 people in this, so big, I would need something to hold it up, because it’s an undergarment, I threw it away instead of returning. Be warned it’s not regular American sizing or china sizing, fabric is nice, & it’s pretty, but I got it so I didn’t always have to wear pantyhose, (which I don’t like), & I can wear super soft silk stockings. Make sure to ignore suggested measurements & go at least 2 sizes smaller. Then it would be lovely

Adequate quality; includes g-string
As other reviewers said, this item runs super large. I'd say order 2 sizes down from what you'd normally get; I just ordered 1 size down. The material and construction are about what you should expect for the price--not great, but adequate for light use. The package does include a g-string. I'll probably get more use out of that than the garter belt itself, honestly, since plus-sized g-strings can be hard to find.

I liked the product
I liked the product, material was great, however, I ordered up a size and realized this one has really good stretch.. but too much so I had to return it. It really is a plus sized piece and if you are looking for something to make you feel and look sexy I recommend. I'll look at ordering in the future.

Too large, but still functional.
I originally ordered this in the 1X/2X size, per the measurement chart, but it was just too large. It barely stayed on my waist and sagged quite a bit. I returned it and bought one in Large. It fits much better, but is still a little loose in some areas, especially the lace part. I've decided to keep the Large one, since the Medium may be too small. As shapewear, it doesn't really give any support, but it does a fine job keeping stockings up if nothing else.
