Short lifespan, lights start flashing after a couple of years
The media could not be loaded. Only last a few years before they start flashing. Not very "eco" as you have to replace the entire light. Have 8 of these and within a few months of each other they've all started flashing. Planned obsolescence?

Not a environmentally friendly solution
I don't see these being eco smart when we have a huge piece of plastic to throw away because the light starts flickering after 3 years. I had my kitchen remodelled in 2018 and have already replaced 5 out of six lights. Trying a different brand. I don't want my money back, I want some quality engineered products! I've been a repeated sucker for these supposed "environmental friendly" products.

Works with Caseta for the most part
I bought a Lutron Caseta wireless dimming system, and didn't realize until after installing them all how few bulbs are "officially" compatible with it. I had a few non-compatible LED bulbs that actually work just fine, but the no-name LED can lights the electrician had installed in my ceilings emitted a low buzz when on, regardless of the dimming level. I consulted the Lutron website and wound up with these "compatible" can lights. As far as buzzing goes, these fix the problem. They fit perfectly into the recessed fixture with no issues. My only complaint is that they don't get super dim. The old, non-compatible LEDs they replaced would buzz but you could get them down to a just barely glowing, nite-lite level. I would estimate these Ecosmart ones only get down to about 1/3 of full strength before just turning off. That said, it is a minor complaint and only an issue if you are a dimmer snob like me. They also might work fine with other conventional dimmers. I only wrote this review if there is some other poor idiot out there like me who took 5 trips back and forth to Home Depot trying to get their smart lights to work.

Package say 30+ years; I had to replace all 8 of mine in 1-3 years
They start to flicker and hum within a year or two even though the package says 31 years. That has to be ILLEGAL. So as others have noted, you end up wasting all that plastic casing, spend way more on light bulbs masquerading as light fixtures. A total and complete scam that is environmentally harmful while claiming to be eco-smart. UNACCEPTABLE!

Happy to screw you on the return shipping
I bought a set of eight 65W lights from a different seller and liked them a lot so I bought a set of Six 65W lights from this seller (because I was looking for a set of six and not eight). They were not as bright and only dimmed to about 1/2 of their max brightness. Basically they weren't nearly as good as what I had bought from the other seller. They were happy to provide a return label and said they would refund my cost as soon as they received the product. Only problem? I have to pay the shipping which cost approx. $54! Keep in mind I paid less than $40 for the entire set of their crap lights. I decided to just keep them rather than loose an additional $15 to return them and have them sell them to anther unsuspecting customer.Yeah, not happy with their return policy of screwing customers over after shipping them their crappy products. You've been warned! Avoid!

These replacement lights are perfect
We had a project at work and installed over 60 of these lights. After exactly 1 year, we only had 1 light start to flicker. This property used to go through nearly 15-25 bulbs at least, every year. I'd say that was worth it in itself. The lights emit a very nice soft white color, while being extremely bright.

Perfect Match!
We installed recessed lights a little over a year ago. One of the lights was defective and so I ran to Home Depot to pick up a replacement, only to find out that HD no longer carries it! I found the match on Amazon, bought it, installed it and couldn't be more pleased. Whew! I really did not want to replace all of my recessed lights in order to have them match!
