great product
wish I had heard of this a long time ago.I'm using it for transfers and layering with acrylic paints now.Love how its so flexible and dries quickly. Beats the packing tape method hands down. You can wash the paper backing off after the layers have dried and it doesn't turn soggy, just be delicate with it.Best method I've found is brushing on 3 layers at least - one each direction of horizontal, vertical, and diagonally. After it dries the first time if you still see a haze carefully buff with a wet old toothbrush and it should help.Be sure to apply evenly for best success also.

WOW! Great results!
WOW! Great results! I was looking for something to make personalized marble coasters and Omni-Gel was perfect! I made photo copies of my photos and artwork, applied three coats of Omni Gel in three different directions (to give your transfer a bit of thickness and strength), and let dry about 20 minutes in between coats. I then soaked the coated papers in water and very carefully rubbed the paper off of the transfer. Don't rub too hard or the transfer will stretch and won't lie flat on your project. I then used the Omni-Gel to adhere the transfer to the clean 4 x 4 tumbled marble tile. You need to spray a matt sealer over the top so the coasters don't stick to each other or become damaged from hot beverages.

DO NOT SHIP BY 2 DAY AIR
DO NOT SHIP BY AIR. Omni-gel with freeze and become permanently solid. This is third bottle in a row. Seller verified all Omni-gel on their shelf was liquid but I kept receiving it as solid but each one was shipped by Air. Took a while to figure out but most cargo holds in aircraft are not kept at room temperature but rather are allowed to cool as the outside air temp at 30,000ft drop to -40°C or less. Ship by ground during the summer and it should be okay.Product does work as a transfer medium if it is in liquid form. Product even says on the bottle to protect from freezing.

Omni-gel 8 oz transfer medium
Purchased the 4 oz size and liked the performance of the product so I purchased the 8 oz size. Takes 3 coats for each item, allow for drying time between coats. Can be used up quickly if you are going alot of transfers. Works with laser copies and magazine pages; however magazine paper is harder to work with. Removal of paper from the gel once its cured, takes time. Final product is glossy on one side, matt on the other side. Product seems to have more flexability and sturdiness than other gels used for the transfer artist. Recommended for mixed media. Mona Lisa & Speedball brands work well.

Just what I was looking for
I tried Omni Gel with a black and white laser print and it turned out great. I followed the directions and put on two good coats of the product (letting each coat dry fully), soaked the project in water, and began carefully peeling off the paper backing. I have yet to try OG with a color laser photo, but when I do I will post my results. So far, this is application is much better than jamming up my printer with transfer paper. : )

do not let it freeze!
Due to subzero temps (like -30°)this product arrived frozen and when I tried to use it the gel was hardened along the top and sides so Not much of the product was any good (what was usable had chunks in it!).on the plus side I notified Amazon about what happened and they quickly responded and reimbursed this purchase, thus a 4 star rating! I will reorder when the temps improve around here as I think it will be perfect for the transfer project I want to do.

works like Always.
same omni Gel different bottle. I'm not afan of the new top. I really liked the Squeeze top. This has a teater top and allows a bunch to come out when you open it even if you tap it down first.

Omni-Gel Review
I have purchased this same type of transfer medium in the past and used it once then. I've used this new container once and now remember why I don't use it. The areas where the Omni-Gel is used are raised up from the fashion fabric and definitely leaves your material heavier. That being the case I really am not qualified to review this item. Handy to have on hand if a relative talks about putting a picture on a t-shirt or pillow I have the goop required. Until it expires.
