Great mat for insulation

Lined our Raku Kiln
We bought these to line the inside of our homemade Raku kiln and we are very happy with the results and performance. 100% recommend wearing a respirator or at the very least a mask, Gloves and long sleeves essential if you don’t want to avoid the irritation from the very fine fibres. Cuts perfectly with a large scissors so couldn’t be easier.

Works well and easy to cut.
I'm using this in a DIY surface mount solder reflow oven. I've modified a toaster oven and have used this insulation to improve the oven's performance.I easily cut the pad with a large pair of scissors, just be aware that this stuff makes quite a mess of tiny sharp fibres. Always wear the appropriate PPE when working with it. No bare skin and a face mask are essential.
