One out of two for this item. The good news is that it worked beautifully on our recent trip. Applied to the side of the fiberglass tub enclosure I could adjust the shape and angle to provide a secure, stable assist bar. However, as is the case with all such units, the suction cup can only work on a completely flat surface.At home, we have 4-1/2" tile in both our bathrooms. No matter how I tried, there was no way to avoid part of the cup landing either on the grout line or the beveling at the edge of the tile. Once that happens, suction is lost and the unit is unusable. Had the cup been a bit smaller, it probably would have worked.While I don't mind packing it - it's light and doesn't take much space - I would have been much happier with one that could also be used at home.

This is a life saver and attaches very stably, solidly, and easily. Have not had a single issue with having any of the points of attachment coming undone Worth every cent. I totally trust this product.

Great for Travel for Extra Safety in the bathroom and You can take it with You when Traveling .This way you can put it where You want and need it for Your Safety. I am 76 years old And use a cane/walker to get around

I brought lot of cheap grab bars they don't work my mom is 86 yrs old she always has hard time getting in and out of the shower and the cheap grab bars always come loos or fall out in the tub but this Grab bar is excellent good suction cups I am very happy thanks for making such a good product .

They do good when I put them up and then after then shower they fall. so then I still have to go in the show without anything. I have a tile shower if that has anything to do with it.

First rate in all respects

Very easy to install, exactly as described and quickly shipped (had it next day). Quite a nice product, especially for the money.

I've tried a few of these, and this one works. However, it only has worked well on glass... on tile it's hit or miss, but this must be due to the porosity of the tile.
