The trimmer itself is actually quite good, powerful enough to handle even thick grass and tough patches with ease. However, the string line that comes with it is really disappointing. It breaks every 2-3 minutes, and you have to stop frequently to reattach it. If you decide to buy this, I definitely recommend getting a stronger, more durable replacement line to go with it.

Lighter than my previous Bosch, but the line that came with it was like candy floss and stuck together and not usable. I had to get more line, which then defeated the purpose of the good price!! 😡👎 Then it was used for less than an hour and the complete spool head came off it and flew across the garden and on inspecting, the part holding the head on had melted. The motor spindle was too hot to touch. Too powerful at 600w for a small plastic strimmer, a 600w produces too much heat to cope with. A previous 400w Bosch lasted 4 years before the motor gave up, yet there wasn't a mark on the spool from usage and u can see from the photos that this isn't the case with this strimmer after less than an hour's use and approximately 15 meters of cutting!!

Fantastic product, so powerful! Great quality, easy to assemble, went through my thick garden grass like a knife through butter… I am a very happy customer!!! If you are looking for a great trimmer with a lot of power for less than 50 quid buy this one… I love the telescopic design, too which is very good for your lower back, especially when using it for 3 hrs solod like I did today😊

Bought it because I was tired of having to deal with the heavy and loud gasoline powered models. It's lightweight and relatively quiet. It comes with a Euro plug but thankfully a 3-pin UK/IE extension cord is included. This trimmer seems to be made for very light cutting only but I expected this coming from the more powerful gas engines. The one real gripe I have with this tool is the so called automatic line feed. I have yet to see this thing feeding any line at all. Every 30 seconds of cutting or so I have to manually feed more line which is terrible. If all goes well it involves pressing a little button on the side of the trim head. If that doesn't work, you need to remove the cap and fiddle the line on both sides through the tiny brass holes.
