Love my Xylitol
This is a great substitute for sugar. It taste like sugar. There is no aftertaste. I have been using Xylitol for years. Thankful to save a few dollars buying it in bulk.

Perfect substitute for Sugar
I was looking for an alternative sweetner for my coffee and perhaps in general (baking, etc). After researching about the negative effects sugar has on the brain, associated with alzheimer/dementia and other inflammatory effects on the body that lead to others, I knew I had to cut sugar out. I was a little skeptical because some reviews said it would cause an upset stomach. I usually have coffee 5x a week and only use about 1 teaspoon full of this. I've had no side effects so far. Been using this alternative for 2 months now. Taste the same as regular white sugar. I am very pleased with it. I will continue using this as an alternative.

Great Sugar Substitute, but Use in Moderation
I’ve been using Xylitol Pure as a sugar substitute, and overall, it’s been a good experience. The taste is almost identical to sugar, without the aftertaste you get from some other sweeteners. One thing to note, though: Xylitol can have a laxative effect if you use too much of it. I noticed this after having a few servings in a day. As long as I use it in moderation, it’s fine, but it’s definitely something to be aware of.I do appreciate that it’s derived from non-GMO corn and contains no fillers or artificial ingredients. The texture is just like regular sugar, and it dissolves well in drinks and recipes. Just remember to introduce it gradually into your diet if you’re new to xylitol to avoid any digestive discomfort.Bottom line: This is a great natural sweetener if you’re looking to reduce sugar intake, but be mindful of portion sizes to avoid the laxative effect. In moderation, it’s a fantastic sugar alternative.

Large volume; good price.
Pure xylitol is the only sweetener in our house. It tastes and dissolves just like sugar. There is no aftertaste as with sorbitol, mannitol, aspertame, stevia, etc. And, uniquely, xylitol not only doesn't cause tooth cavities, according to my dentist, I REDUCES them. The sugar substitutes above all are prone to loosen the bowels if you eat too much. It takes a whole lot more xylitol, I've found, to cause this problem. Oh yes, we're diabetic, and xylitol has been proven to have no effect on blolod glucose levels. My wife bakes the best pies, and so much more with it.I gave it only four stars because the cost is slightly ridiculous, considering the abundant sources. Still, NOW Foods always seems to be competitive with their pricing.

Satisfies sweet cravings
In looking for sugar alternatives I researched Xylitol. There is no odd aftertaste like one finds in some alternative sweeteners. I have not tried it in baking but apparently there are recipes using xylitol and for diabetics or those wanting a good tasting, sugar-like product for cereal, fruit and more, this is worth trying.

Value!
This is a huge bag of xylitol. We were buying the small bags of birch xylitol, but went looking for something else due to cost. We are a family of three and all of us love yummy, sweet, creamy tea. I was not loving the sugar, though! My husband is diabetic and I was worried about my son having all that sugar. Sometimes I still use honey with my son, but my husband has completely switched to xylitol. After extensive research I think that I am okay using non-GMO corn xylitol. Honestly, I can't tell a flavor difference and the price comparison is huge.Pros: Very good value for your money! Great for families or people who do a lot of cooking. Bakes like sugar in the recipes we have done. It isn't quite as sweet as sugar and since we've been used to using it almost exclusively our taste buds have gotten used to it. Now, when I go out and I am offered a treat, or get one at a restaurant, I can't take the sweetness. I've gotten so I never eat dessert or snack on sweet things. I just don't like them anymore. I'm healthier and my husband is healthier. My son, who is seven, also never snacks on sweet things or even asks for them (with the exception of ice cream, sometimes). I think this is because he is used to not having them around. If he wants a snack he usually asks for things like crackers and goat cheese or fruit. I only mention this about my son because I have noticed that his peers are always snacking on really sugary things, things that now make my taste buds shudder.Cons: The large size is a bit unwieldy and the zip-lock type closure doesn't work very well, at least on ours. Since I am a stickler for not having our food open to the elements we have had to invest in a large container for food storage. The large, good quality, food storage containers are expensive, but it a one time cost. We also have a smaller container for general family use that we re-fill from the larger one.Overall: I will definitely buy this again!
