Love this!
My son was having trouble dealing with frustration. I got this kit and boy did it deliver! The kit was beautifully designed inside and out. It looks like a present in that it has fun activities, puzzles, and projects. It made talking about frustration easy and friendly. The best part was this pad called the "My Bad Mood Buster". He totally got into it! I see him writing on it without any prompting. I love tools that kids can own. A huge win for our family!

Great resource
This product is a fun, engaging way for kids to learn about their anger and what happens to their bodies when they’re angry.

NOT for young kids unless you want to do it all for them
This kit for an anger management box is not suitable for the younger ages without them missing out on multiple aspects of each activity. It says 4-6 with parent, so I bought this for my just turned 5 year old. Some activities include a word scramble “how many words can you make from the word frustrated” — in order to do this the child has to be older. Another activity has children making an origami tower of worries. This involves the child folding origami into BOXES to stack. Uh, the only useful aspect of that for a 4-5 year old is giving them an opportunity to become frustrated and angry. Then the parent has to fold the boxes. If the child can’t fold the boxes it’s not really representative of their feelings and they don’t get a meaningful experience. There is a reflection activity for kids to write a reflection on a time they were angry. 4-6 year olds are still learning to read and write. My issue with this kit is that these are not facilitated with “parent help,” they’re facilitated with the parent having to do the activity FOR the child (not with the child) which limits the child’s ability to be an active participant. If your child isn’t at the 7 year old level this isn’t helpful. It is not easily translated to younger ages. There are no instructions specific to parents to guide their younger child through these activities or any alterations to make for younger ages. I think this is a great lot for a child who is 7+ and a good reader. They really shouldn’t advertise this kit to be for 4-6 with parent help though. It’s not help, it’s doing it for them. A 4-6 year old who cannot read well will not benefit emotionally from a parent dictating how to spell every word for their reflection if they do try to write one— the kid can’t even read it back to themself. I do think this is great for older kids though. I’m not sure if I’ll hold onto this for years or return it.

Great gift for multiple ages
I bought this as a gift for my nieces and nephew for their vacation. It was a big hit with all of them and the ages are 3 to 10 years old. This is a wonderful product and I'm going to order a couple more as well as some other products from this company. I've told several friends about what a wonderful gift this would make for all ages!

Really frustrating
Not only are the instruction cards missing from our kit, but the clay is completely dried out. I am especially frustrated with this product because the whole purpose of it is to help the child when s/he is feeling angry so imagine the frustration a child would feel when they are already upset and they get out their activity and they can’t do it because the product is completely useless. Because of this my child ended up more angry and upset than she already was.

Ample activities to keep the kids entertained
This was a gift for my little nieces that were heading on a long car ride. I didn't get to see the activities in use, but I do know that they were thrilled to receive this box of fun so that, in itself, was worth it.
