Great machine for the price
So far so good, makes a decent cappuccino and latte, water tank holds a decent amount, doesn’t take long at all to heat up ready to you, was a bit concerned when I read a review saying this, but I found this review to be untrue in my opinion or the buyer is super impatient, seems well made, I’m sure if you keep up with the cleaning function on the milk side of things it will last, hopefully! Time will tell, but for now myself and my family are hooked!

Nice machine
This is the first proper coffee machine I’ve bought. I had the basic Tassimo one before but the pods got ridiculously expensive. It’s easy to use with just a few niggles - the milk container is temperamental and fiddly to push in, it also doesn’t fit flush to the water container which doesn’t impact its use, just looks untidy. The milk frother lever is flimsy and feels like it will break off easily. It’s also difficult to clean the tube the milk goes down.Otherwise a nice nest little machine. With hindsight I would have gone for a bean to cup more expensive machine, but for a newbie like me it’s grand.

The best coffee machine for the house, simply amazing
5 star is not enough. We have now this amazing coffee machine for 2 years and it performs better than super expensive ones. The coffee is amazing (I would highly recommend the illy coffee pods, you will avoid all mess with the coffee and they taste amazing. You can get them from Amazon in an 18 pack at £5-8 depending on the offer).Makes amazing cappuccinos as well. Beautiful froff better than a lot of bars. We drunk on average 3 coffees per day everyday and the quality has been consistent during the years.Big advice: if you can use bottled water, it will make a huge difference for taste and in the long run.Extremely important: every 250 coffees it will need to be descaled. Buy white vinegar to do that and follow the instructions on how to do it. The light will stay on for few minutes, with no sound, dw it will start pouring the water when ready. If you follow all and keep up with the descaling it is by far the best coffee machine you can buy for the house.

Simple - makes coffee a pleasure and not a chore
I previously had a Tassimo but then upgraded to a Swan espresso machine. I was at first pleased but found that making a cappuccino or latte became a chore due to the need to measure milk into a jug, steam it whilst watching the temperature and then clean it all up afterwards. Coffee has become a chore instead of a pleasure.I was at first concerned that the "one touch" feature meant "not great quality" - I was wrong. I watched a ton of review videos and most were singing the praises of this machine (unless they were created by coffee snobs used to their thousand pound machines). The machine itself is compact and having a detachable milk container that can be stored in the fridge is a super plus. Noise wise it is actually quieter than my Swan machine as the milk steamer was REALLY loud.Taste wise - it's good. I am using the same coffee and milk and it's perfectly ok for me. I started with the froth set halfway but that produced way too much froth for my taste so I have it now set just above minimum. It's simple, easy to clean and not a bind.

Slow and Messy
We've had this machine for a month now, our first of this type. The coffee it makes is fine, very much depends on the beans/grind etc. However, it's a huge faff. The machine is very slow to warm up, especially the milk frothing side. I'm frequently hanging longer for it to be ready to make a cup than actually making and drinking it.The mess it makes is awful. Ground coffee gets everywhere (admittedly a problem with any machine like this) but it will leak dirty water on the counter top too.The inner filter in the coffee head frequently falls out when emptying it, despite it supposedly being locked in, so you are fishing through hot coffee grinds for the thing. It has very little in the way of functionality, six basic options and that's it.To be honest I wish I hadn't bought it.

Odd little machine
I bought one of these as I wanted to upgrade from filter coffee to something more professional cafe type coffee. There are some very good things with this machine, but my experience produced more niggles than positives. OK, the good stuff first The coffee quality is very good - the extraction and temp are decent snd produced a nice cup of coffee, that is providing you put decent coffee in it. Its simple to use and gas various options - Cappuccino, latte, espresso etc.Now for the negatives- I returned two if these as had issues with the milk steamer on both that I had. Firstly the milk spout delivers steamed milk into you'd cup,but regularly got blocked, and even after meticulous cleaning and using the deep clean option, was still flaky, sometimes working sometimes not. You don't give any control over the milk like you do on a traditional espresso machine where you use a steam wand to make your milk, so if the milk doesn't fancy coming out, you're stuffed. Also cleaning the machine, milk container and accessories was time consuming and a bit of a chore to say the least !!! The milk container and water reservoir also feel very cheaply made with cheap plastic and parts.I wouldn't recommend this and I'd go for a traditional espresso maker that gives you control of the milk and is easier to cleanPros - nice coffee and decent temp easy to set up and control. Lots of options .Cons - milk steamer gets blocked regularly, fiddly to clean and water reservoir leaked on both machines I had. I've heard the newer model the coffeehouse 2 is sightly better than this, but can't personally comment. For the same price around £170 there are several other options that are better than this. Shame as the coffee tasted great
