Beautiful and functional
I love love love my new kettle, it's so pretty!! The whistle is loud, and my water is a bit hard, so the bottom would get little specks inside, but a little bit of vinegar cleared it right up. I'm sure I'll have years of use from this kettle! Cheers!

RUST
I got this kettle based on reviews- I washed it out upon arrival, added some water and boiled it to enthusiastically make my first cup of tea in it. The whistle was nice, and not obnoxious. I made me tea. All good….. two hours later, I return to make a second cup, and went to top off the water level in the pot, and it is RUSTED all around the seam inside! Brand spanking new! Stainless steel… not supposed to rust unless they cut it with some crap metal to keep the costs down. GOD only knows what you are injecting if you routinely boil water in thus piece of junk. Sending it back. NOT Impressed at all. In fact I am pissed I wasted my time and money on this.

I'm outside the return window so I figure it best to write a review.
I don't suggest buying this teapot unless you're an extremely meticulous person. After making tea I would dump out the excess water then sit facing up with the spout and lid off so it could air dry. It didn't do anything for the water that stays in the seam of the pot. As you can see in the pictures I have two spots where water settled for long enough to rust it. Now I have a decorative piece for my shelf in the kitchen.

It rusted after 2 months
I am so disappointed with this kettle, after only a couple of months of use, it has rusted and now I have to throw it away! I really liked the look of it and that’s why I bought it but when I unpacked it and read the instructions, it said to remove the lid and dry the kettle after every use. Seriously, who in the world would ever do that? I guess that was their disclaimer regarding trust!!

Skip it. Cheap build.
Looks nice but fades in short time. Worse, the metal tip falls out of the pour lid frequently which is very annoying. This is because the plastic tip heats up, expands, and loosens so the metal part just falls out. It’s poor quality.
