This is a beautiful stand with a classic look. However, be careful when screwing in the 8 posts. If you accidentally screw the 4 top posts in the bottom shelf, the screws are longer than the thickness of the board and you will damage the top of your stand.

I'll be honest, mine arrived and when I opened it I swear some of the parts had been REFURBISHED. It was covered in a layer of dust. Just 1 part. But, I got this at a decent price and it arrived so quickly. As for assembly? Its literally 4 legs. And posts. That's it. No tools required. Mine is sturdy and is exactly what I needed. So hence the 3.5 but im convinced it was used before. And No I did not order a Used one. So buyer beware. Colour didn't matter to me.

It took about 15 minutes to put together (so easy) and looks great! It’s not the sturdiest, but for the price I didn’t imagine it would be.If it falls apart within the month I will update my review.

There is some unevenness in the paint job on the blocks under the top shelf that you can see when sitting, but nothing I can’t touch up with some vanilla paint. Over all I’m very happy with it, it’s the perfect size for the player I got and nice that it holds the records too without taking up a large footprint or costing a lot. Would recommend.

One of the legs on the table was not screwing into the shelf properly, causing the stand to wobble whenever touched - unacceptable for a piece of furniture designed to hold a turntable / record player.You can see from the photos that the groove / thread fell apart in my hands. The material was soft and cheap - but most importantly, it was defective, as the other threads didn't suffer the same issue.Amazon are forcing me to return the entire piece of furniture before I have my refund processed - despite photo evidence, which should be enough from a long-time customer.Avoid this seller and think about getting off Amazon entirely: I am for the first time.
