Order tho wrap to be just a little bit bigger than your lid size.
When you heat it, it shrinks really fast and can easily twist. I used needle nose pliers to hold mine in place before I heated it. It stayed in place that way and worked really well. Far less waste.

They work really well and shrink down to almost nothing.
You need to make sure that you have it almost in place when you begin to heat it. It shrinks down or distorts really fast. For me, I got some needle nose pliers and held it in place and then shrunk it. Less waste that way.
