Paperweight for an anthropologist
Amazing reproduction paperweight of the well known Rosetta Stone. Good paperweight size and weight for holding down your research papers - great for summer with fans blowing air across the desk. Green felt backing keeps surfaces from being marked up. This measures about three and a half inches long. The text is clear although very small so a magnifying glass will be required to read the three different texts and see the symbols. Makes an interesting conversation piece. Fun for students, kids, budding archaeologists. Would be a wonderful gift for for your favourite professor.

Too small
This discovery was all about the writing. Very poor reproduction.

Great quality
A great conversation starter, this Rosetta stone paper weight boasts some very good detail for its size. The printing of the characters on the face is more legible than I expected for the size of the item and overall it's a great addition to my rock and cool thing collection.

Not realistically legible
Not a very interesting item, as the script is improbably tiny. Not heavy enough for a paper weight, not big enough for a coaster, so ..

Fine quality but too small for script detail to be legible
The miniature Rosetta Stone (4" size) was of fine quality of materials, color, shape, and weight. However, due to the miniature size of the stone the corresponding size of the script illustrating the hieroglyphics, demonic script, and ancient Greek was illegible and displayed as a blurred white line. A larger 10" or 12" size Rosetta Stone compared to the 4" size stone would be recommended if a better detailed display of the scripts would be desired.

Nice little gift for the intellectual in your life

Do not buy.
Characters are not carved, but appear to be printed, and requires a magnifying glass to see.

Good paper weight
I just came back from British museum and couldn’t find this item. Had to order this paper weight as this is what I was looking for. Rosetta Stone.

over priced trinket with lines being sold as text.
Most of the text on this item are just lines, because it is too small. Not worth the price
