Not white
It's not white, it's more of a light beige. Picture looks white. I took a picture of it next to my white dress for comparison. I purchased to wear over a white dress and nope will be sending back. It's still very nice and soft if that's what you're looking for. I totally would have kept it.

Finally! A wrap long enough to cover my thighs!
I searched high & low for a wrap that could easily come on & off at the pool, matches everything (so had to be white) and long enough to cover my thighs. I couldn't be happier. I am 5'2 - including the fringe it hangs below my knees. Its very thin - it won't take up any room in your bag. Its been wadded up in a bag since I got it - just took it out and it doesn't have any wrinkles. Perfect
