Well made. Comfortable

I purchased the DEMETECH ASTM 3 Surgical Mask based on Armbrust's YouTube channel review. It seems like a great mask for the price (less than 50 cents each). This high quality USA made mask, has an extremely high filtration level (over 99.168%) and high breathability level (53.8 pascals), according to Armbrust's tests. This makes it a no-brainer. However, there are some cons. The ear loops are too loose, so the mask does not seal properly to my face. The easiest solution is making a "Slip Knot" on each ear loop. To learn how to make one, search for "Adjustable Ear Loops" on the "Hacks by Dad" YouTube Channel. Second, the elastic is installed on the inside of the mask. In another YouTube video, Lloyd Armbrust explained that it's better to have the elastic welded on the outside of the mask, because it seals better. Also, it would be nice if the masks were individually wrapped.

So I've tried a bunch of surgical masks and all of them have ear loops that are too big (I have to either tie them into a knot or add those adjusters). This is the first one that I don't need to do this, and it still fits my face without being too loose or too tight. The loops are also made of a really soft squishy material (similar to the Dr. Puri KN94 masks). They're really comfy and I can wear this for hours. I am female 5'5 average sized face. This also fits my 5'6" 13 year old son. These don't smell and doesn't create those annoying fibers/strings that tickle my nose after multiple uses of the same mask, like some cheaper masks. Nose wire is strong and easily adjustable. The mask material is strong and thick, but not hard to breathe.Cons: the black color is a big not uniform as the pictures have indicated. There's some blotchy grey-ish patches, but they don't bother me. There's no powder or anything.Overall, I plan to repurchase when I run out.

I work in a medical facility, and wanted black ones. These are American made, comfortable, not hot, not plastic feeling, BLACK, look good, and safer then fashion masks. I was thrilled with them. I would buy them again for winter/ flu season.

Love these masks over all the other one's I've tried. they do not have a strange smell like a lot of the others and the straps do not break. I advise you to check them out!

Love these masks and have purchased several times. They’ve been soft on the inside and lightweight. But the most recent order is stiffer and I noticed that the inside fabric now appears exactly the same as the rougher, stiffer outer fabric. After wearing for a few hours, the tip of our noses were raw and red, having been chafed by the fabric. Would love to purchase more, but only if the previous style with the softer fabric.

Ok, these cover nicely but do not stick to your lips or get over heated! Love these!
