Q: Can you combine models/coaster sets?

Yes, as long as you have the needed pieces. I have also seen an autistic boy at our local park that had build a much larger coaster by building it much larger than the image of the roller coaster on the image. He had combined different sets all in one and it was extremely impressive, in fact it was because of that, that I even bought it. A creative mind has no limit. Good luck.

Q: what size is the foot print of the assembled item

Hello, Thank you for the question. Since we have never assembled that set there is no way we can absolutely know that specification for sure. There is nothing on the box exterior that states that information. In looking at the picture on the box I would estimate the footprint at approx. 3 ft x 2 ft however that simply is a guess from looking at that photo.
