Q: Where is this manufactured?

I do not know where it is manufactured. Used it on a pizza wood burning stove I built. Nice product worked fine for me.

Q: Since this is used in pizza oven does that mean it is food safe?

The ceramic fibers are harmful to your health. This insulation should only be used on the outside of a pizza oven and sealed so contact doesn’t occur (behind a wall or mortar)

Q: If I use this product to line the exterior of a 55g drum for a smoker, how should I adhere it to the drum before I weld a skin over it?

I would use a thin coat of fireclay applied with a notched trowel. if it's just a temporary application you could get a bag of hydrated lime from home depot and either mix a slurry (Lime&water) or mix some sand (maybe 1 part sand to 1 part lime for this application) for a lime mortar and use that to adhere the ceramic blanket to the exterior of the drum. The lime will slurry or mortar will not be an issue in a high heat/food safe environment.

Q: I'm buying this for a forge, but I'm wondering, how will I attach this to the walls and cealing of my forge so that it won't fall?

I built an expanded steel cage/box. Approx 2'x2'x2' then I cut 6" pieces, folded them in half with a steel wire in the middle, like a really long taco, then attached that by the wire to the cage. So now I have about 3" of insulation with the fuzzy end facing the flames. Since the fuzzy end is toward the inside you don't really notice any fraying, seems to be holding up really well.
