The Maamgic Men’s 5" Gym Running Shorts 2-in-1 Quick Dry Workout Shorts are legit awesome. The quality’s way better than I expected. Super durable but still lightweight and crazy comfortable. The built-in liner fits just right, not too tight, and the quick-dry material actually works. These things are perfect for hitting the gym, running, or just chillin. Honestly, they might be the most comfortable shorts I own. Definitely grabbing a few more pairs.

These are so cute on my man. They fit true to size, and are very good quality. He says they are comfy and wears them a lot. They have become his favorite gym shorts.

My second pair - love these shorts. Wish they had one size up though. I am 6’4” 295lbs, I wear a 40-42 and get the XXL. They do fit, but I like to buy a size up and tie them down. They are not super tight in the waist, but just barely right. They dont shrink. Washed and dried with normal clothes, paid no mind to them. Very comfortable in the nads region. I did leg day in them, no issues. Mowed the lawn, no issues. Pockets are acceptable. My airpods case stays while squatting. Phone stays in the side pockets just fine (iphone 13 pro max). Back pocket has a zipper if you are worried about losing a wallet or something. My only other note is that the liner does not dry super fast. So if you want them for gym use, maybe skip the cardio in these 😅 if you plan on sweating a bunch. I was drenched mowing the lawn, and it was quite swampy. The liner is comfy, it is just a bit thick. Which, honestly, might be the point, but just a note. Look and quality are great. Worth the $35, imo. I have one pair that are a year old, and honestly unchanged. The strings have metal caps, so no fraying. I would tie a knot right before the ends, because it is quite difficult to get it back in.

I’ve ordered several pair of these shorts for my 18yo son. He loves to wear them to the gym or when he’s just hanging out at home. He’s 5’8”, around 160 pounds. The length is perfect, hitting just above mid-thigh for him. He can easily fit his phone and AirPod case in the pockets. He said they’re very light and breathable and really likes the compression layer underneath. They dry quickly and don’t stick to him while he’s working out. There’s a back pocket with a zipper which is small but nice to have. Overall, definitely recommend these if you’re looking for comfortable, functional gym/athleisure style shorts.

Awesome Gym Shorts!! These shorts are some of the most comfortable I have ever owned, they are very high quality and I love that you can wear them casually everyday or take to gym. The pockets are great and I love the cell phone pocket in the built in liner. Great value and in my opinion much better quality than Fabletics and much more affordable!!! Can’t wait to buy more products from maamgic!

We all want Chubbies (wait what?) but we also know that one pair of Chubbies will take about 60 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon out of your cooler. Can you afford to be out of beer for 10 days? Well, they are pretty cool shorts. These maamgic "Star" shorts are a nice knockoff version of the Chubbies Danger Zones. maamgic? Sounds like they were deciding on a company name after 60 cans of Pabst. Bottom line - the maamgic shorts are pretty comfortable. Even though they're short, the inner liner (like a pair of boxer briefs) and shell of the shorts both STRETCH which doesn't restrict movement. Honestly, I was super surprised how comfortable they are. Just the right about of stretch that still feels secure in the pool, in the ocean, and on runs. And the polyester material is very smooth. They describe it as buttery. I agree. Nice touch adding the American Flag theme underneath...wait they stole that idea. Sizing. That's the tough thing about Chinese brands. Demographics and models for sizing are different in each country. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs with a 33 inch waist. No beer gut ironically with my beer choice. And, on their listing they say I should be a Large. But, I went with customer reviews advising others to order normally, and I did. The size Medium fit great around the waist - just like standard US sizing. Only thing that is snug is around the hips but the stretch helps with comfort. I don't think the sizing is off on the hips, I think it's just better described as slim fit. If you wear slim fit, order normally. I use my maamgic shorts (maybe they tried to say "magic" while eating peanut butter) 3 times a week for running, and I just hop in the pool right after. No need to change. Then just wring them out, flip out the inner shorts, and let it try overnight. Durability? I washed them a few times already, and they've survived. Don't see any fading from the chlorine in the pool and I haven't popped any seams. For just a little over $30 - it's a good deal for 2-in-1 athletic shorts when compared to any major brand. Sure, I'll buy more.
