Just couldn't get the right fit. My Pity has a big head..lol product is well made.

This hat is just horrible. It had better reviews than competitors so I had high hopes, but I'm returning this thing. It is very much designed for dogs with high set ears. My golden retriever and labradoodle mix has side set ears and while the ear holes were big enough for the base of her ears, it didn't fit right and crumpled her ears up and she was wiggling and trying to get the hat off as hard as she could. She's a service dog and wears noise reduction headphones just fine, so the problem is not her refusing headgear in general. the problem is that this hat was so extremely uncomfortable. the bill of the hat covered her eyes like a blindfold. the curve of it is not contoured to a dog's head, but more so to a human toddler's head. The design doesn't accommodate the fact that dogs have necks and their ears are not horizontally positioned. I think the best possible fit for this awful hat would be for a dog with a long neck and high set small ears. If that's not your dog, don't get this. Don't torture your dog with a hat that can damage their ear structure. As someone with 23 years experience sewing, this is just poorly constructed. I wanted to avoid making one myself because the small garment will be difficult on my arthritic hands, but it seems that if I want it done right I have to do it myself.

The hat itself is nice, but it’s not a good fit for my dog. When she’s out in the sun, her nose gets sunburnt so I want to get her a nice hat. This one is too short and doesn’t help to protect her nose.

Adorable and well made. size L fit my 65# lab perfectly. My lab would rate this hat a 1....she dislikes it but hopefully will get used to it. I like that it has ties to adjust hat to fit and not blow off when we ride in the boat or convertible

The item itself seemed to be decent quality but the bill of the hat was way longer than described (and was hard to tell from the pictures advertised). The return window wad also shorter than I feel like average Amazon items which I didn’t notice when initiating so I missed my return opportunity.

These are super cute and does the job!! Took my dogs a few minutes too get used too (as with most things with dogs) but they kept them on all day at the beach!! Tip: if going to a beach or something outdoors, we put them on , on the ride to beach, by the time we got there, they were used to hats. ALSO, This way (just like with children) you are not fighting with them and getting sand and etc everywhere.

I have bought several of this vendor’s small dog hats and they fit my Papillon nicely. I eagerly ordered the pretty flower hat not once but twice. Each time the bill was too big and the crown too long, unlike my other purchases. I am deeply disappointed. Quality control needs a recheck.
