LED4US Directv Dtv Wall Mount for C31 or C41 Client Receiver Mounting Bracket

Not much to go wrong here, the bracket seems to fit perfectly the DirecTV Mini-Genie unit.My only concern was where to mount as I didn't have an RF remote and didn't want to buy one; and I wanted this bracket and the Mini-Genie receiver to conceal from line-of-sight. My TV is mounted in the corner of the room, a few feet from ceiling, so I placed the bracket on one of the walls behind the TV with the front of the Mini-Genie pointing upward towards the ceiling. Anyways, it works just great, even with my Infra-Red (IR) remote ... presumably, the IR signal bounces off the ceiling and reflects downward to the Mini-Genie unit. I should mention that my ceilings are a smooth surface (freshly painted, white) ... not sure how well the IR signal would deflect from a textured ceiling.

Looks great! But unfortunately I'm stupid and can't read. I bought this for the Wireless Genie Mini Client (C41W) thinking it was the C31. So unfortunately it's too small for mine, and on top of that there are holes in the back of the C41W to mount it to the wall on it's own.

Although it's been reported that the C41 Genie Mini (NON-wireless version) will fit into this C31 bracket, the C41W WIRELESS version of the Genie Mini does NOT fit, as the C41W Wireless version is much larger than the C41 Non-Wireless version. The good news is that there are two mounting holes already built into the C41W that you can use to hang it with - you won't need a bracket. Hopefully this clears up some confusion within the reviews of this product.

At least one other reviewer says this doesn't work on the C41 Client. Wrong! My C41 Client fits perfectly, as does my newer C51. Nice accessory to mount your RF clients behind your wall mounted TV for a neat, clutter free installation.

Mixed reviews on this item mostly say the mount will only work with the C31, but I bought it to use with the C41 and it fits securely as well. If you have the C41 and can't find a mount for it, this is it.

I ended up using velcro to attach my directv C41 box to the back of my TV rather than adding another hole in my wall. But this bracket would have worked great had I used it. The C41 definitely fit in it easily.

Bracket does exactly what is supposed to do.I would recommend to those who plan on mounting this behind a large wall mounted tv w/an RF remote to locate the bracket/receiver as close to the edge of the tv as possible. Otherwise the RF signal from the remote MAY not get to the receiver all the time. Can be frustrating at times.Before permanently mounting try a couple different locations w/3M Command strips and test the remote.

The double sided mounting tape didn’t hold, but other than that, I used the screws and it seems sturdy enough
