Solid!
I've always preferred IR for my pneumatic tools. They've never let me down. It's a great grinder and has the power if you've got the PSI and CFM's. It doesn't have a button for locking the collet so you'll still need 2 wrenches to loosen/tighten the collet. There is no speed adjustment. It feels good in the hand and functions as expected. I'm running it on a 20 gallon compressor that puts out 6.1 CFM's at 90 PSI. It eats up a lot of air so my compressor being only 20 gallons runs constantly but never drops below 90PSI when using the tool. But I don't have an ordinary 20 gallon compressor either, I've upgraded pulley sizes on my pump and motor, hi-flo couplers, copper tubing sizes, etc... Most compressors my size don't have the capability to run this tool for more than a limited amount of time. You'd probably want at minimum a 30gallon compressor for this tool that puts out 6cfm at 90PSI.

good, but modifications may be needed
I liked it so much i bought a second one. the only issue I have is the collet doesn't always release. the original seems a little overly sensitive to over tightening (maybe a me problem) but once I replace it i worked fine again. I also removed the safety which also felt a little overzealous, which was easy to do and for my shop better.

Good quality Ingersol product!
Works good as expected with the ingersol name. Wish it had a speed adjustment. It’s either on full blast or off. I did buy a separate brass air control valve to adjust the amount of air that goes into the tool. It attaches right on the inlet coupling. Wish this item came with similar air adjuster from the factory.

NICE TOOL
A NICE DIE GRINDER/CUT OFF TOOL. DO YOU HAVE ONE? AND IF NOT WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE ONE, WHY NOT ? ARE YOU POOR? THINK YOU DON'T NEED ONE? WELL YOU DO ! SO YOU BETTER BUY IT BEFORE THE DIE GRINDER POLICE COME TO KNOCK DOWN YOUR GARAGE DOOR. THEY CAN ALSO CHECK MATRESS TAGS IF UNSURE SO YOU BETTER HAVE YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO BUY THIS ITEM

High quality
This IR die grinder is used almost every day on my classic car resto project. It's very reliable, and I do put a few drops of oil in it per week.

Good tool
Was afraid this would be a loud one for the price, but it is not. Nice and quiet, works well, as expected.
