Ugly Stik Bigwater Casting Fishing Rod

Rod is great, used for years. IGNORE the bad reviews, they are ALL shipping related, exchange it instead of leaving bad reviews for an amazing product. I have several ugly stiks from marine to fresh water and they are the best bang for your buck and reel in plenty of fish.

Does everything a casting rod should do at the beach. Plenty of power. Foam grips are ok, but to be expected for the price range. Zero complaints. Ugly Stik tends to meet a great durability vs cost point. A little heavier than higher end rods, but I don’t spend every weekend surf fishing.

If you’re trying to get bait out to the fish. This is the rod you need for surf fishing. Cannot wait until striper season is on to use this

This rod is massive and I like it. I've been using Ugly for years and this was used for surf fishing. It works well and the quality is good.

I can't say enough good things about this rod. Uglysticks are my go to when durability and depandability are important. I've got these on all my coastal setups and even have one for targeting bass at the lakes. Just get it you wont regret it.

rod but shattered while use it, sent in all information requested, and still have not had any refund or questions asked. rods have a 7 year warranty on them, this rod is only 3 months old.

I do not understand the negative reviews... I ordered it and received it at my door well packaged and in perfect condition on the stated schedule (2 days). It is a beautiful piece of art as rods go. Exactly as I would expect an "Ugly Stik" to be. It is a little heavier action than I expected but that's even better for the type fishing I do. I think its great.... my SIL is going to order one now that he has seen and felt mine...! Fantastic for surf fishing in Gulf of Mexico in South Texas. DA

Love this rod. Guys this is a strong heavy action rod, so it is stiff and will be great for big musky, channel cats, carp even sturgeon. I have equipped it with heavy duty braided line 110lb. The line eyelets are fantastically strong and stainless. Suits my needs to a " T ". For the money it's the best.
