I love this set! The only thing it’s really missing is a true primary red. There are several reds in the palette, just not a true red or a true green. Beyond that, the colors are very pigmented and easy to work with. I’ve been able to mix and blend colors, and I really like the metal case. The swatch card is wonderful for reference, and I keep it with the case. The travel water brush is nice as well, though it took me a few minutes to figure out how to fill it with water. The water brush doesn’t leak, and has been carried in my purse with water in it with no issue. I do wish the colors weren’t in a plastic holder. I want to remove some to build a palette of my own, but this is a small enough case to be able to travel with. The colors themselves are vibrant and easy to layer and mix.

These were my first set of student watercolor paints. They were what I used in the very beginning. I love them. I have tended to use certain colors more often than others, but it’s so nice to not have to mix any colors when you’re just starting out. I like the little color swatch that’s included. The paints have held up well in my watercolor sketchbooks. They aren’t lightfast like professional paints, but I pretty much just paint in watercolor practice books anyways. I like how some colors are more granulating, such as paynes grey. The pigments are bright enough to work for all my projects. I like that this set was more affordable than the name brand of a similar style. The colors are transparent and can be layered over eachother for glazing and washes. I’ve had fun using this sitting outside on the porch, as I don’t have to mix any colors up and it makes outside painting easier. The tray inside is good for a mini pallet with three wells, the water brush is usable for quick outdoor sessions, the flat brush is helpful for making washes in my small sketchbooks, and the tray is removable so you can use the metal lid inside as an extra pallet.

Pretty nice watercolors , they look exactly like the picture. Not the best but not the worst. I do like the range of colors that you get. Also if your using any water with your medium its best to invest in thicker watercolor paper that will make or break your painting. Like if I use these on standard paper they are not going to reach their full potential because the paper cant hold the water nicely.

I got this box set bc I have expensive paints that I don't want to use for practice. However, not only is this set affordable, it has a lovely array of very pretty floral colors. I swatched these out and found two things: (1) If you like to paint in layers or glazes, these paints are translucent enough to use this way, as these are non-granulating, and (2) they can become chalky if the amount of paint applied in one application is too thick or too much paint on the brush. (Just add water and thin it down to a glaze and it will be fine.) These paints deliver a light, almost cellophane transparent wash of color that is even, with lovely color. Whether practicing, sketching, or creating a masterpiece, this set will provide many hours of relaxation and fun.

I bought these watercolors as someone who is ready to graduate from kid watercolors. I loved that there is a premade swatch sheet. The colors are vibrant. I’ve used them 3-4 times now and I love the look. The little case will make it easy to store these and take them with me when I travel. The perfect set for my beginner needs

I did some big research on what watercolor pallet to buy, I’m going on a big trip and wanted a great kit to bring. I’ve been painting some flowers to test it out, and I just love how wash this kit is to use, from beginner to skilled this kit is great. The colors are vibrant and blend-able. As an amateur watercolor artist I was simply delighted with the lovely bright long lasting colors. Gos on smooth with no clumps unlike some cheaper water color options. Blends well. I love that it is so easy to travel with and comes with a couple of brush options to get you started. Very reasonable priced. Would by again.
