Great find to extend the life of various china/porcelain items. Small pieces can be cut off, kneaded thoroughly together and a little stiffer than putty can be shaped to fill missing parts and bridge gaps. Overall, it has stabilized some bowls for me which showed small cracks. Putty dries solid white and hardens after some hours, but remains moldable for ca. 10-20min.. Dishwasher safe. Surface is very slightly rough and porous--so can not recommend to store beetroot or some such in it unless sealed with some kind of glaze. But it makes cracked stoneware and china utterly useable again and extends their lifespan in your household.

This is way too expensive. After you add the cost of this to a project the item cost has to be way overpriced to break even.

I prepared the putty exactly to directions (equal parts measured on kitchen scale), kneaded it for 7 minutes and it is not pliable at all; it is crumbly and not smooth at all. Tried smoothing it with several tools as well as with fingers and it is too dry!Very disappointing! Returning it!
