Has a magnet in the flap that locks device
Every corner of this case has a magnet. The magnets interact in a way that makes the device lock completely when the leather makes contact with the screen. So it is unusable in the case and has to be removed if you don’t want your screen to lock every 2 seconds while you are trying to read

My wife pulled out the old 7.
My wife started using the old 7 so I bought her this. It's looks good and is protective. Good price, construction seem good, time will tell. I recommend a buy.
