These really work!!
These really work! My 4 month old has been teething and has 2 teeth come in at the bottom. I rub his gums one to two times a day with these wipes and he hasn’t been as fussy as I think he would have been without them. We haven’t missed a full night of sleep yet.

Great for 3 to 12 month olds
Xylitol I believe has been proven quite effective in cavity prevention. I know you can also give infants a "rice size" amount of fluoride toothpaste - but seriously, have you ever tried to squeeze out a "rice size" amount? These wipes are great for on the go, and I really feel that the wipe texture scrubs teeth better than the typical finger brushes out there. I think these are a great option for wiping down an infant's gums when they are beginning to get their first teeth. You can keep them in the fridge - to sooth sore gums. And up to about 9 to 12 months. Once your baby has a lot of teeth it's really game over with these things because you just get bitten. That being said, my daughter was fairly obsessed with sucking on these / brushing her own teeth with these until she was like 3 because they taste really good I guess. These were always a staple in our diaper bag and house when our kids were littler.

Great product but waste most of it
I got these for my 8 month old after he got his first two teeth. I was surprised at how easy these were. The wipes come in individual foil packets, which are easy to open. You just wrap the wipe around your finger and use it on the teeth and gums. My only complaint is that these wipes are way too big for my son and I end up wasting most of the wipe. Wish they would come in a smaller square for kids with fewer teeth

BEST TOOTH WIPES! Highly recommend!
These are the best tooth wipes out there! At least that I've tried. They are a little sticky, so I use a baby wipe to wipe my hands off when I'm finished, or simply wash my hands. Other than that, they are perfect! We are using a toothbrush now as my toddler is now 18 months old and has a full mouthful of teeth, but I used these for his first few teeth. They are super gentle, they have an awesome texture to clean the teeth (which also makes it so they don't slip out of your hands easily), and they are flavored. The Xylitol is awesome and it actually felt good when I rubbed baby's gums with them as he was still teething. They come individually wrapped so it's easy to keep a few in your purse or diaper bag. Even though we use a toothbrush now, I still have a few on hand for when we travel.

Recommended to us by our son’s pediatric dentist. He’s 3 now and we still use them! He brushes his teeth but this helps really get them clean

Recommended by Our Pediatric Dentist, Easy to Use, Liked by Babies
This is our third baby to use Spiffies at the recommendation of our pediatric dentist. Our baby loves the flavor and looks forward to us using the Spiffy. She is currently 9 months old. With strict supervision, we often give her the Spiffy while we are changing her diaper. It keeps her from wanting to crawl away, takes care of dental hygiene, and lets us see her sweet smiling face all at the same time. We never got into a good routine of cleaning our firstborn's teeth as an infant (he turned out fine dental wise, no cavities yet at age seven), but using Spiffies has made it easier to fall into a routine daily dental cleaning with babies two, three, and four.

Makes nighttime breastfeeding safer for a baby with teeth
My pedodontist told me that in a small percentage of cases (perhaps 5%), breastfeeding during the night can cause tooth decay in babies. I was surprised to hear that, because I've read so much about the subject, and most babies with teeth can safely breastfeed at night and not develop decay. However, my pedodontist has seen tooth decay firsthand in the babies of very well-informed parents who did everything 'by the book'. She wanted to make sure that I knew that although the risk is low, my baby could be at risk (and there's no way to know if your child has the kind of teeth that will be at risk - until the damage is done). For this reason, she recommended I stop breastfeeding during sleep hours (when a baby's production of protective saliva is greatly reduced). I was reluctant to do that, however, because my baby won't drink cow's or goat's milk (and hates formula), and I produce much more milk at night than during the day. Given those circumstances, she recommended this product, and my baby LOVES the taste of both the apple and the grape. **BEFORE** I breastfeed her in the wee hours, I wipe out her mouth thoroughly with a Spiffie. The package doesn't say anything about this particular usage of the product, but I trust my pedodontist, who explained that by coating the teeth with zylitol (a wood sugar), you give the mouth's bacteria something to eat rather than the natural sugar in breastmilk. Somehow (the details of it escape me), this prevents the bacteria from attacking the baby's teeth. It's still not as safe as brushing the teeth, then not breastfeeding until daylight hours, but it helps mitigate the risk of decay. The only downside is that my baby chomps on my finger -hard!- sometimes. It helps if I use a finger on my other hand to prop her mouth open. Another bonus is that the Spiffies really do seem to placate her if she's teething. She'll really chomp down, suck hard on the Spiffie, and then relax and sleep better after being 'Spiffied'. Just be careful that you have a good hold on the Spiffie; my baby loves it so much she sucks really hard, and might swallow it if I'm not careful.
