Ok so first off I was kind of nervous to buy make up online that I had never tried before. I went into Macey's the other day and sampled a lot of expensive brands there and they were so nice feeling. The pigments were much better then the Drug Store brands and they were softer too. So I felt that if I wanted this type of quality, I was gonna have to pay an arm and a leg at some fancy store. So I came to amazon (my go to store for better prices) to see if I could find any deals. Well SHANY cosmetics showed up in my searches with high reviews and low prices. I checked out their site and thought it was worth a try. I was super excited when my set got here. PROS: All the colors were bright and shiny just like pictured. The eye-shadows were very velvety and super pigmented! I use a light primer and no setting spray and my eyes looked awesome all day. The brushes are such a new thing for me and I loved the fact there was a insert that told me which brushes were which and what to use them for! The bigger ones were super soft and fluffy and the smaller ones are soft yet firm enough to do the cool definitions I've been seeing everywhere. The lip-glosses are more of a test size but there are so many that it seems like the best way to get to try out so many cool colors. They are creamy and not too sticky and they blend great with lip liner. The oil blotting pads actually work too! CONS: The makeup was awesome, super reasonable price! Only con would be I have to wait till it gets here.

The makeup box was awesome! I received a whole set up brushes that are high quality. The eye shadow colors in the palette were cute and vibrant. I also loved the eye and lip pencils which went on easily and didn't smear. I recommend this box. It was worth it!

I don't think this product even deserved one star. Perhaps my expectation was way too high and that's why my disappointment was insurmountable. I feel like I've been defrauded, lied to, disappointed and any negative feeling you can have. I received 1 lip pencil, 2 sponges (sufficient enough for a Barbie doll and not a actual human). The lip tray, would be sufficient if I had horizontal lines across my lips, and not full blooded natural lips enviable by lip injected women. I felt like I was punked or someone playing a cruel trick on me. Some of these meek, deficient in quantity products, I could've purchased in a brick and mortar establishment for perhaps 10% of what I paid for. I am extremely surprised by the quality control person at #Shany and do not recommend anyone to purchase this at all. So one lip pencil, 12 synthetic makeup brushes. Microscopic lip pallet and even eye shadow array in a. 2" by 4" in a laughable all in one miniscule case for which the dollar store would sell at 50 cents, 2 band aid size cosmetic sponge, 4 narrow and 1"" size "alleged" blending sponge (which by the way I couldn't hold with my fat fingers), should be considered petit larceny. These videos must have been photo shopped or augmented by the hubul telescope. Apologize I forgot to list the one tub of lip gel I received and one nail file is just a complete jole and fraud. #ShanyFraud, #ShanyJoke, #ShanyUnderDeliver, #ShanyShafted, #ShanyTheft, #ShanyMakeItRight. This fraudulent product was $49 and I would like the rest of the $47 you took from me.

I understand this is a surprise gift, but should have included the core items mentioned in the description. I have recently purchased this for my 19 year old daughter for christmas. It was missing three items. The liner pencils, eye pencil, additional cosmetic pencils... she is now trying to steal my eyeliner. I would have rated this a 5 star alas they did not come through with all the items.. The quality is nice and brushes are nice too. I really like the items I received in my mystery box. The brushes alone are worth more than the whole bundle. There is a great variety of colors as well. I will prolly purchase again in the future.
