Easy to install, great solution that doesn’t require me to install anything new or alter my sliding doors. Training my dog took about two weeks to be comfortable using it.

We have a large dog that drives us nuts with the going in and out. She can open the door herself but not close it, of course, so we looked for a solution. Our door is a sliding glass door with a sliding screen door on the inside. You either close the glass door or close the screen door. The wall on either side of the door is not conducive to adding a doggie door, so we looked into replacing our door with one that has a built-in doggie door. Problem is that those doors are very expensive.We found this solution and it's worked well for what it is. Yes, there are gaps, but we haven't noticed an increase in bugs. Don't have many of those where we live anyway, but maybe they just don't see the gaps. Whatever, the gaps aren't a problem for us, and other reviews on here have suggestions for minimizing those gaps. This winter will be a separate problem, but at least this product is a good, inexpensive, partial solution for the other 3 seasons.

WE bought the screen conversion kit for our dog door. My 13 year old chihuahua will not use it....stubborn I suppose. My 2 yr old beagle FLIES through it and she learned it in an hour. Very sturdy, and the magnetic flap keeps it sealed yet easy to push open. We would buy again.
