portable,powerful,battery operated,great brand product
can't say enough about greenworks products. i have the snow blower and now this leaf blower. i swapped my 80v battery into this and it works great as expected. there's the regular squeeze mode blower or hold the top button down for a more powerful blower. i first looked into the widely advertised cordless drill looking blower but known experience and not so great reviews made me decide to pass until i thought of greenworks and i knew from my snow blower now on year two how great this battery operated could be. i strongly suggest to upgrade to the 80v battery anything, you will not be disappointed and you won't be screwing around with lesser power batteries and shorter work times. yes, it weighs a bit more but i want to finish a job and not have to stop halfway to change batteries or wait for a charge.

Powerful/Well-made
Works great. We already had a battery that works from another Greenworks item. Powerful.

Impressive power; nicely designed for ease of use
This is the first battery powered blower I've cone across that actually gives my gas blower a run for its money. The max blowing speed is very impressive, with the caveat that you drain the battery pretty quickly on max (which is engaged by using the "turbo" button). But even without the turbo feature engaged, it's more than capable enough to deal with moving large piles of leaves efficiently. The build quality feels pretty good. It's all plastic, but it has a sturdy feel to it. The ergonomics are excellent -- it's comfortable to hold for long periods without hand/arm fatigue. I especially like that it can be used at ultra low power. It's perfect for moving leaves off of planting beds without disturbing the mulch. The cruise control feature is especially helpful for that since you can lock in the exact power you need without having to hold the trigger. Very pleased with the performance, design and value. Five stars.

Incredibly powerful
I would have given this product 5 stars if not for the issues listed below: 1. The charger is as loud as a hand held vacuum cleaner. I realize this is because the battery is being cooled as it chargers which is a good thing but, my EV has a battery management system that does the same thing for a much larger battery 85kwh and it is whisper quiet. 2. The documentation is inaccurate. After reading the warnings and documentation on the unit I received I discovered that my battery is not recommended for use with the charger (or so I thought). I immediately called support and got a knowledgeable support tech that explained what I sort of knew already, the documentation was not well written. The charger is within specs for my battery and, in fact, will work with much larger batteries, like the ones for their lawn mowers. 3. Because of the poor documentation I also found that the battery takes 6 minutes longer to charge (30 minutes not 24) than described. Did I mention it is extremely loud? It also takes an additional 15 minutes to cool down, which is a good thing to wait for if you want your battery to last. 4. The battery only last 20 minutes. That is to say, if I check the battery status often, which I do, the charge indicator comes on after 20 minutes. There is still plenty of power in the battery, but my yard is so small anyway (6,400 sqft lot size with a 2600 sqft home and garage) I just turn it off and charge it so it's ready for the next day. Those issues aside this leaf blower is amazing. On Turbo, I can blow spider webs off my deck and windows. It's a bit heavy for my wife, which is alright because she doesn't actually do yard work. I've used gas powered leaf blowers that are not as good. Unlike the other reviews I've read, my unit came with the turbo button sitting on top of the handle right above the trigger, easily accessible by my thumb. It also has a handy little cruise control lever next to the trigger so you don't have to keep pressing the trigger. I thought about getting the 7 aH battery, but it really would be over kill for what I do with it.

Excellent Variable Speed blower with excellent Sales Support
This blower is a monster and does a great job of providing not only high speeds to move heavier materials but high volume of air that moves lighter materials at lower speeds with far less noise. The variable speed trigger is fantastic and the brushless DC motor responds quickly to trigger pressure. I can clean our very long driveway in minutes and easily within the charge lifetime of one battery. So battery life is very good. I strongly recommend this product but have just one major caution. The blower does delivery exceptionally high volume of air at high speed. As a result it also develops a tremendous "vacuum" at the back of the device to source the air that is being used to do work. This high suction will grab any loose clothing you may be wearing and can easily pull sweaters (in our case), light jackets or especially draw strings for sweat pants or tops directly into the blower and ruin both your clothes and the blower!! Greenworks were fantastic in helping us with repairs after our mistake - so take note that ANY blower that has any significant volume capability as this one has must be used with no draw strings and not loose shirts / tops!

Wow! Love this thing!
Always hated leafblowers...until NOW! One of the best home management tools ive bought in years. Now i own 2 acres and need all the tools i can get my hands on to manage. For one, this electric one isnt nearly as annoying sounding as a gas powered one. Big plus. And this 80V one is REALLY powerful and makes quick work of what needs doing... even on wet leaves which we have a lot if here in the PNW. The charge could last longer maybe but thats the only a small issue - but then it re-charges pretty quick, as in <1 hr. So while its charging i do other yard work. The full charge lasts, hmmm, maybe 20-25min of going constantly.

Great product but buy at discount
Cannot complain anything about its power. It’s super awesome. But buy it at discount and it would be great you have battery already then you just need the tool.

I was fed up of using an electric blower with the electric cable And I bought this one. It is excellent Since it’s using 80 volts battery I also decided to replace my 23 year old gaz lawnmower with their battery lawnmower. Wow I love the ease of these battery devices. What used to be a shore is now a fun

I used a Husqvarna which worked awesome. Said to myself that it's crazy that I never bought one of these blowers to move snow years ago. Then I bought this Greenworks with a 5ah battery. Waaay better than the Husky! Gonna be buying a few more tools so I can get the most use of the batteries.
