VFSHOW Womens Slim Zipper Up Work Business Office Party Bodycon Pencil Sheath Dress

I really like this brand and have several dresses from them, but I tend to go for A-line, more flowy dresses rather than body-con or form-fitting so I have mixed feelings about this particular dress. I do love the color and style. I have several VFSHOW A-line dresses with this same crisscross waist and and I love how flattering and stylish it is. The XS fits my short and petite 5'1", 105 lb frame well, and because the fabric is soft and stretchy it hides flaws that most body-con dresses tend to accentuate. It falls a couple inches below the knee on me and only hitches up a little (to about the knee) when sitting down. I'll probably end up keeping it just to add something different to my wardrobe but because it's not my personal style I can't say I love this dress like I do other dresses from this brand. If you are looking for a true xs and like a more form-fitting style I definitely recommend the dress. Its well made, stylish and the tweed-type fabric makes for a nice winter/fall choice. 6.24.2023 I upped my rating from 4 to 5 stars because the more I wear it the more I like it. I still prefer A-line styles but the fit of this dress is not too tight and I really like the cut and style.

This dress fits great & is really comfortable on. For reference, I’m 5’3” (shorter torso/longer legs), 108lbs, 34B and the size Small fit perfectly. It comes a little below my knees, which is where I wanted it to fall. I ordered it in the Teal Green Tweed, which is more of a teal blue, but still lovely. The dress is so soft and not itchy at all, which can be the case with some tweed fabrics. It also has some stretch to it. The stitching is very nice AND all the lines match up! For me & my OCD, that’s huge! I also ordered this dress in the dark red with white pinstripes, size small. I so badly wanted to love it, but the fabric on that dress is very stretchy and VERY clingy, too much for my liking. What I really didn’t like about it tho was that the stripes did not match up. That drives me nuts! I do love the tweed dress so much that I’m probably going to buy another one in a different color. I hope this helps.

I love this dress! The fit is flattering and perfect for a professional setting, but the front zipper gives you the option to add a little sexy edge if you want. It also has a zipper in the back for easy on and off. Just a heads up—it does run a little small, so consider sizing up if you're between sizes. Overall, super cute and versatile!

Very well made classic wardrobe staple that is versatile enough for the office and also classy enough for select formal events. Comfortable, stylish and true to size! Highly recommend!

I kind of knew what I was getting into ordering this dress in terms of quality of fabric, etc., and I almost gave up on it. The main problem is that the zippered front just makes it look cheap. The fabric is not high-end to begin with (it's that somewhat shiny, stretchy polyester blend that is used a lot at down-market stores) but the style of the dress is decent and figure-flattering. I had tried it on twice before almost giving up -- the first time I tried with a false collar underneath, which totally would have worked if not for that darn zipper in the front. The eye goes DIRECTLY there and it screams cheap. Then I tried to just wear it zipped up all the way without anything around the neckline, but even if I tried to dress it up with a necklace or two, I still wouldn't be able to hide the zipper. I was *this* close to returning it when I decided to give it one more try with a scarf around my neck. This elevated the dress considerably and I've decided to go ahead and keep it. Part of it is that the dress needs some kind of decoration at the top to balance out how it hugs the body. That's why the false collar looked good in terms of symmetry. But again, it didn't work with the zipper handle hanging in the front so prominently. I'm glad I finally figured out the scarf thing, because I do think the rest of the dress, while not of super high quality, is a decent piece to wear to work. It's comfortable enough and simple enough to wear frequently -- something I look for in a staple piece. I might try and see if I can get someone to sew the front together and remove the front zipper entirely -- then I could see wearing it with a false collar, or a big chunky necklace, which would increase its versatility. For now, scarves will have to do! I would just warn the buyer not to expect too high a quality from this dress. I think it should be $10 cheaper for the quality that it is (it was $38 at the time of purchase) -- but as I said, I'm going to go ahead and keep it because I do like it overall.

This is a knockout dress. No need for lining perfect thickness and classy with heels. I’m thrilled and so is my guy. It’s sophistication and made very well. Sexy and alluring but not forced. I’m very happy with this purchase.
