Rust-Oleum 202646 Designer Metallics Spray, Aged Bronze, 11-Ounce

OK, I can't remember the last time I was totally impressed with paing in a spray can. This stuff impressed me completely. I needed to paint 13 metal ceiling fixtures that were dark brown and I used the aged brass color paint. Here are the highlights: -Great coverage, I used two thick coats and got 4-5 fixtures per can. -NO RUNS OR SAGS. The paint goes on smoothly and dries quickly. I have admittedly done a lot of painting, but this stuff goes on perfectly. -Metallic components give it a very nice look. Doesn't look like shiny regular paint. It has a nice satin finish and a rubbed look. -I used the clear finish in the same product line to give it two clear topcoats for durability. There was no wrinkling or cracking. At 70 degrees, I put on a coat every 5 minutes. No problem. I let it dry about 2 hours and then put the fixtures under a heat lamp to bake the finish on and harden it. I baked them for two hours and they came out hard and dry. This paint simply went on great, looks great, and feels like it will wear as good as the original finish. I wouldn't hesitate to paint any lamp with this. I rarely give praise like this to spray paint. Try it, you will approve.

Can cap looked GRAY, however, does become a dark bronze with second coat. Nice and even, sprayer works good, not drippy, subtle metallic, dried really fast.Looks great. Had to buy a second can because I am going to paint all the white registers in my house bronze to match switchplates.

I found out about this off of Pinterest, and a user recommended buying online since the similar product in the stores wasn't the same. I LOVE it, and I've become a spray painting fool! I used it to change my ugly bright gold door knobs to a oil rubbed bronze color. It is a dark color and when you look closer you can see the mettallic look. It looks great and gave my doors an instant upgrade, not even sure I want to sock the money into buying new doorknobs now! I also used it on several outdoor solar lights and yard art that had faded and upgraded some more light fixtures in the house. It's so easy to use, no to very minimal prep work!

It's a little darker than I expected, but I really like it. And the price was a little high, but this just isn't in stock in the local stores. I spray painted knobs for a dresser and a lighting fixture with one can, several coats for all. The items look really good, so I've very happy and can't complain about the price. I'll be buying more soon.

painted brass door hinges rather than buy new ones, cheaper, and no worries about the fit since is was a heavy front twin door. It is dark, about the color of wet coffee groounds, pretty metallic sheen in direct sun. I ordered more to paint raw iron balusters replacing white wood, tested on a couple and they look great, a quality rich look.

This is stuff works great and one good coat and your old metal stuff looks like new again. The can never clogs and is really easy to use, just make sure you do not stop and spray one spot for too long or it was glob and run. I did a mailbox, gas line pipes, porch light, door bell and Halloween decorations. Just be warned if you are matching Schlage Aged Bronze door hardware you will want to go with the darker Oil Rubbed Bronze paint. The lid is close to true color - but lighter than other aged bronze things.

Uhhh. I don't know how it worked for so many people. This stuff is suuuppperrr sparkly. It looks like glitter. That's not satin nickel if it's so sparkly. Did not match my hardware at all.

The paint is fine and looks nice / covers nicely - but it is def not the aged brass that I was looking for unfortunately. It's just a light gold. Now I need to find something to paint....maybe the dog? (kidding) haha

Good coverage . Bit expensive.. the finish / end result is excellent.
