A well-designed and well-made fan--with great follow-up service from the company
Every Casablanca fan we have installed in our house has performed superbly. This one is no different. We look forward to many years of reliable service from it.Unfortunately, a part broke about six months after we installed the fan. Fortunately, Hunter/Casablanca provided exceptional customer service. I emailed the company explaining the problem and providing a picture. Within a couple of hours, they responded with an offer to send me an entirely new fan, since the broken part was backordered. The fan arrived a few days later. I'm sure that the broken part was a fluke--we have other Casablanca fans that have worked flawlessly for decades. Receiving such wonderful follow up service just reinforces my high respect for this company.

Great, Fantastic, Wonderful.
I didn't get a remote control. I didn't install it, but the electrician didn't seem to be having any trouble. It is beautiful, works great, and it is a Casablanca!

Purchased and installed this outdoor fan 1 yr ago and it's still working perfectly. It's on my pergola cross beams and not protected from rain or snow. The finish on the blades and metal casement show no signs of wear.

Terrible Wind Speed, Nice looking Fan
This is a beautiful looking fan and Casablanca used to make some great fans, especially the Panama indoor fan with amazing wind speed. Unfortunately the wind speed on this fan is pathetically weak. If you need an outdoor fan for hot days, you will be sweating under this one. And in Texas, every day from June - October is hot and humid. And for $550+ (over $700 with light fixtures, remote system and longer down rod), this fan should be much better.

This fan is really nice, easy to install and works great . It was installed outdoors under a covered porch. I am a licensed electrician and purchased this for my own home. Note it does not come with a remote control and fan speed is controlled with a pull chain.
