Uimprint Extra Large 8'' x 12'' Industrial Rubber Stamp Ink Pad in Metal Case, Black Stamp Pad

I don't often write reviews, but felt this deserved one. Not much to say -- it is what it is -- a giant ink pad. The case is super sturdy metal, the size is perfect for my large 9 x 7 stamp. Included ink is high quality. I don't trust that it seals well enough to keep the ink from drying out (though it may be fine), so I keep it in a bag when not in use.

Be advised, the ink WILL bleed a little when applied to ANY wood. It’s still usable, however if you need it to be perfect with no bleeding from he edge of the lettering/logo then another alternative might be the best option.

It did NOT "..SHIPS DRY - For safety, ink pad ships dry with three, 2-ounce black ink refills for initial ink pad fill and future refills" It came "wet" with ink and NO refills included. Metal case does not latch or seal. Tried to use 10"x6" stamp and it did not coat with ink very well. Not impressed.

Unfortunately, I bought the same size (8x12) custom stamp, which by the way WON'T FIT. Yeah, I missed the tiny "Ink Pad Usable Surface: 7.75" x 11.75". Would have been nice if that sorta GIANT detail were more prevalent. Waited over a week for the whole setup to arrive together, only to realize the stamp didn't fit inside the ink pad. Now I'll have to buy a paint roller. The ink is pretty frustrating to apply. You have to squeeze really hard to get a drop out, PLUS you're only supposed to apply 3oz of ink. How do we know how much that is when the bottles come in 2oz sizes with no indication of how much is left in the bottle? All-in-all, frustrating experience, but I'm sure if I spent 30 more minutes reading the descriptions or researching this type of stuff myself, I would have just bought something else and saved myself the frustration.
