Game changer
Let me start with, if you're not used to a bidet then maybe this isn't the best product to start with. In general, there are many problems in creating an effective portable bidet - however, I'm highly impressed by this product and would give it 10 stars if possible. Background, I've been an avid bidet user for 7 years and will never go back. Like many others I hated traveling or using the bathroom without it. In the past I would just rely on wipes (I understand those have a whole other list of problems) but those can't be used everywhere, they dry out (when I left in a gym bag or car to have on hand), and it's still just glorified wiping. I love this portable bidet so much because it's simple and effective. Yes, it still is a hassle in general if you are comparing not having one at all vs needing to bring this to the bathroom with you, fill with water, flip upside down and aim, and then clean after. That's like saying flying is a hassle - yet it's still one of the best ways to travel long distance. I love this because it's almost as good/effective as the real thing and for someone focused on the results, the work is worth the effort. I bought this originally to go with me on a cruise and that alone was worth every (inexpensive) penny. It's also perfect for holiday travels and situations where I can either leave it in my bag, or store in the bathroom I'll be using while traveling. It's actually really easy to clean to - as long as you're not shoving it where the light doesn't shine. It does take experience to get proficient at it, and I can imagine it would be more difficult for bigger or less flexible people to reach around or get the right angle. But if you keep it from touching anything nasty, and then wash it at the same time you wash your hands with soap and water it's very quick and easy and then you can either store the nozzle in the bottle if you have to leave right away or let it dry a bit first. My gf is not a fan so I'll usually let it dry under the sink or in a cabinet sitting on a wash cloth or paper towel. Anyway I'm starting to rant but I absolutely love this and will use forever - or until the next major improvement comes along in portable bidets

Durable, no leaks and easy to clean. PERFECT!
Bought 3 of these in 2016 and they still work just like I bought 'em yesterday. I got three so there's one in each bathroom and one for my car, which I keep in my center console. There are two things I don't care for. 1. The lip just above the sprayer. I think it's probably designed to prevent spraying upward (like on the toilet seat) but it sprays upward anyway, so that function doesn't work. 2. The spray needs to be a wee bit stronger, but it does work. What I love about them is... * They don't leak, even after all this time. * They are obviously VERY durable, since they've had heavy use for nearly 10 years. * It works just as I expected it to work. There is one wishlist item: * I wish I could fill the one in my car and put a cap on it. It's embarrassing to me to have to fill it in a public bathroom with stalls. Then I could pour in some water from a water bottle and cap it and use the bathroom. Instead of having to carry the water bottle AND this inside. I like small purses, and they both won't fit. I mean, I could carry a larger bag for it but a cap is an easier solution. Cleaning is easy! I put 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 hot tap water with a little dishwashing liquid in a bucket and immerse it for about 20 minutes. I bought a nail brush to scrub the nozzle portion clean because like showers, it creates a water buildup, which may actually be the reason some are reporting leaks. Then I rinse it really well and lay it on a towel to dry. All in all, I highly recommend this brand!

Tushy saver when away from home.
If you have a Tushy or bidet and are leaving home for a vacay or family visit, bring one of these along. And a spare towel. It does work and work pretty well. Don't expect Tushy results but this is WAY better than having nothing. I found there to be plenty enough water without refilling and the pressure adequate. By the way, it only worked when spraying from behind. Now the caveat... it will make a bit of a mess. Spraying is not exact so there will be splashing. For me, worth it. I felt clean afterwards. Your results may vary and there will be those that can't deal with the splash, but if/when I head away from home, it'll be in my bag. I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was an option.

Have BAD arthritis in hands, but can still use this
My hands are curled and weak now from RA, so tushie wiping is difficult, and I don't swab off everything. I looked at a number of hand bidets and what decided me on this one is the knobbly band around the middle. It is not for decoration but prevents the bottle from slipping from my weak grasp. If you worry the bottle might slip away and fall in the pot, this feature mitigates that possibility. Other bottles are too smooth. The blue bit with the sprinkle holes is a good design feature. They are placed on the side, not the tip, so the bit won't fly off into the pot however hard you squeeze the bottle. But just to be safe, flush the toilet *before* using the bottle to clear waste from the bowl. You could still lose control of the bottle despite the nubs. Just prep for the worst! Cleaning your target: warm water, fill bottle, seat the stick part firmly. Mine did not leak at the base. Cover the little hole at the bottom *before* tilting the bottle. If your unit does not have a little metal button with a rattly little ball inside, return and replace, someone at the factory missed this one. Here's the trick for women: sit well back on the toilet so there is space in the front for the bottle to go below the seat. If you are a big girl, this might not work and you should get a sprayer that links to the toilet water supply instead, they're smaller. Lean well back, knees wide, get the business part of the sprayer below the toilet seat. As you close on your target, turn the bottle vertical. This is why having the spray holes on the side is good design. Release the kraken, I mean, remove finger from the hole in the base and use both hands to squeeze. It make take a couple tries to hit your back target, but practice makes perfect. Is it strong enough to remove the icky-sticky type of soil from your bum? No. Wipe the worst off if you've scarfed more salty, spicy food than is good for you. Flush before using the bidet bottle. My problem is even after thorough, multiple wipes, there is often that last residue that burns like acid and makes your day a misery. The only way to truly get it off is strip and use the shower massage down there. Not practical, even for those home all day. If you are suffering from diarrhea, this will definitely remove the watery residue from your poor abused bum. This worked like a champ. I happened to have a painful burning residue problem when it was delivered. I put it together, and what a relief first time out the gate. Whew! No, you do not completely give up using toilet paper. You still have to dry the area, but you will use less, and most importantly, there is less irritation on tender tissues. You'll be patting it dry, not dragging paper over it trying to get those last bits and failing. For those with hemorrhoids--and I've suffered too--get a handheld shower massage head, and use that to clean the area every day when you bathe. I've done that for years. But bidet type cleaning between showers will calm the area and should ease flare ups. I do not plan to use this outside my own bathroom. I'm disabled and no longer travel. Your mileage may vary if you do not have arthritis. This will work best with an elongated toilet, not a round one. Years ago I installed a chair height toilet with a long bowl. MUCH more comfortable and easier to stand up from.

Beware if overweight, have big thighs and butt, or have short arms.
I think this travel bidet is pretty average. Compared to other ones I’ve tried, it is a very good size for traveling (some are just too big) and it’s nice that it comes with a bag. The stream of water has good pressure, depending on how you squeeze, and it doesn’t like all over the floor when you squeeze it (like some I’ve tried). It does still leak though, by nature of its design, from the spout until you manage to get it in the toilet. It’s not too bad though. My one complaint: I am overweight and I have mobility issues. This is one big reason for me using a bidet in the first place, other than just wiping not being as effective. Other portable bidet’s I’ve used have been good for this, but they were either too fragile (broke when I dropped them), or were a huge mess and leaked all over the floor. This one does not have those issues, but the spout portion is very short. This makes it good for travel, but if you have a lot of thigh and butt and/or have short arms, like I do, it makes it very hard to actually make the water reach the area it needs to clean (this is reaching from the front). It works for cleaning my vaginal area, but that’s not what I bought it for. I’ve tried reaching from the back, but that’s a huge mess with the water and feels like too much of a risk getting any of the waste in or near my vagina. It still works ok as long as I stretch it far, but then the bottle part ends up touching my private and then I worry about dropping it in the toilet. So my feelings are mixed. It’s pretty good, but not as easy to use as I’d like for my body type and specific mobility issues.

Easy to use and does the job
I took this to a 6 day festival. It wasn't totally primitive, but there was definitely not going to be bidets attached to the toilets, and as with many public type facilities, the toilet paper did not appear to be soft like the commercials tout. Besides, I've become accustomed tI kept it in a bag in the bath house along with shave, shower, and tooth brushing items. The bottle part of the product holds plenty of water. It is easy to direct the spray, and the pressure of the spray can be controlled by hand pressure when squeezing the bottle. Very good product, worth every penny.

Really Works!
I'm really surprised by how well this cleans! Hate to admit it, but its more consistent, thorough, and cleans better than my battery-operated unit that cost six times more! Not exaggerating. To be honest, it cleans using less water than my installed electric bidet seat! I've never had to do a refill and second wash with it. But I sure love having a warmed toilet seat in winter here in Minnesota, LOL. As other posters have suggested, and trying not to be vulgar, its essential to use your other hand to gently spread those cheeks. Makes all the difference in the world with hand-held bidets and quickly becomes automatic. Yes, the bottom air intake valve leaks a bit but minor annoyance since it works so well and the price is very low. You can either set it on a wash cloth or inside a plastic bag if its a concern. I use my cloth bath mat. This is perfect for travel. I hate being without my installed bidet when traveling. Can't say enough about bidets. Really are life changing. Horrible to think most people in America don't use them and are walking around pretty darned unclean AND with sore bottoms!!

Great product but leaks from release valve on the bottom of the bottle
I have horrible IBS & after having a almost 11lb child my starfish has times where I have Horrible pain like glass & blood & going to the RR anywhere but home can be painful & embarrassing. I’ve also had 4 abdominal surgeries as well. I have bidets in each RR in my home & they have helped me Tremendously & I’ve even taken them with us on Vacay to certain places. But where we was going for this yrs Vacay I couldn’t bring them & I also needed something more portable since we was doing a Lot of traveling away from our hotel & at different beaches & I just wanted to be prepared bc sometimes my tummy & starfish hurt so bad I can barely even walk. Well this little travel bottle…if ur on the fence just Buy it! It’s Amazing!! It helped me so so much & now I even take it with me when we leave our home & go somewhere I know I’ll probably have to use the RR! What I do is had a small back pack, the empty spray bottle & then 2 bottles of water! Almost 1 full bottle of water to fill it up & use it, then if use the other bottle to fill it up again for a 2nd rinse. It worked Perfectly! I had just had carpal (hand) tunnel & cubital (elbow) tunnel surgery a few months ago & even with having that I could squeeze the bottle easily! I’m a curvy lady & was Able to get the stream where I needed it to go. I also wish I had this when I had my baby & when I had my hysterectomy!! This would of helped so much!! But I have it now & have bought it for others who have went through those things & they Love it too!! It does leak from the bottom though when filled! It didn’t for the 1st few days…but then after that some water would drip from that relief valve but that’s the only “issue”, besides that this spray bottle bidet is Amazing!!
