Electric Guitar Body for Fender ST Strat

I have painted at least 25 guitars in my life and at least that many cars, you could not go out and buy the materials from scratch to paint this guitar for the money they charge. In addition the quality is probably better than anything I could do. I am shocked at how nice the paint looked and the quality of the materials. Well worth the money

The neck pocket was way to big. 1.5-2mm too big. The neck I purchased fit PERFECTLY on my mexi fender strat and on a squier strat body I have. I returned it and the replacement body had the same big gap.Also, the listing shows no holes drilled for the bridge and pickguard. Because of that, I bought a 2-post trem. The body was drilled for a 6-screw trem. It was also drilled for a pickguard the the holes were no where close. The holes aren't as big of a deal as the neck pocket but midly annoying.The picture is a fender neck on the Amazon body.The paint looked good on both and the packaging was well done. Luckily, Amazon's return process is easy, too.Don't waste your money or time.

To start with, this is the second body I had to get as the first one was not drilled for the neck bolts and had way too many finish blemishes to be useful. The second body had a near flawless finish and neck bolt holes so I tried to use it. The routing for the 5 way switch isn’t deep enough, the pots won’t fit and line up in the routing either (not routed wide enough for the second tone pot), and the routing for the standard Fender branded tremolo block I bought is off centered so the strings won’t line up centered over the pickups. It can all be adjusted but the hassle and work required just aren’t worth it. I would sent this one back too but I’ve already started routing the cavities to try to make things fit. Guess I will have an expensive paper weight or quite a bit more woodwork to make it all fit right. I think I’ll just buy a used Fender body instead. This could have been nice had the company just put some more thought and planning into the routing of the body. Disappointed to say the least.

When you order make sure your neck is in sync with the neck pocket. Most online necks are not 5.7cm or 2.24 inches as is a strat neck. 5.6 and have to shim and thin.

The neck pocket DOES NOT fit any fender sized neck MIM MIJ or USA. There is no acceptable way to make those work. Neck screw holes were NOT drilled as stated. Finish was ok on the parts that would shot but hazy under the pickguard. DO NOT BUY.

This was a good project body.... good weight and finish

The color, beautiful. The neck pocket, uneven and VERY hard to fix. Other than the neck being uneven and unable to attach a neck to, beautiful guitar body.

Great finish, neck holes not drilled as advertised. Not full thickness body in-between a bullet and a full size body. Very lightweight. Overall decent.
