Valeo VCL6 6" Padded Weightlifting Lifting Belt with Brushed Tricot Lining and Cam Buckle

Updated - after several months I still love this belt, definite upgrade from the cheap leather belts I had used in the past. Out standing support during deadlifts and squats.While I hate plastic the latch on this belt is very strong. I have pulled very hard on this to get it super tight without breaking. My only issue was I ordered a size just a little too small but I managed.I just lost my belt, left it at the gym I guess. I am back on here to re-order, a size larger this time. I am re-ordering the same brand without hesitation. A size larger this time.

A lot of lifting belts are the standard buckle-and-notch type. This Valeo 6-inch is a clamp with safety bar and an added velcro patch to ensure it stays. I'm no bodybuilder or professional, but I've lifted long enough to know that a good lifting belt can be essential to maintaining near-perfect form. This belt gives you no 'pinch' feeling around your stomach when tightened (sometimes due to the buckle-notch type belt), it overlaps on itself providing a snug and comfortable fit for the entire duration you wear it. I am 5'9" and ordered the 6-inch and love it, the belt provides full coverage over the small of my back and I don't know if I would feel as comfortable in the 4-inch. Nonetheless, this belt fits great, feels great, and worth the purchase.

I wear small size, and this belt fits well. Material is fabric of good quality. I bought the six inch width. It is slightly too wide for me. I'm 5'8"" tall. Fairly stiff, but only used it about eight times so far. The Velcro and clasp secure the belt really well without any give during workout.

I have back issues and bought this belt to use as a back support when working around the house and yard. It does make a positive difference. I believe it gives me better lower mid back support then a not as wide 4" back support belt. I have a 38" waist the X-Large fits well leaving ample room for growth..... It has a nice buckle that makes it easy to get the right tightness. Its made well and should last quite awhile. It's also washable don't know yet how well it washes.

A good belt that supports me physically and mentally for my CrossFit workouts and weightlifting movements when my back is in play. After reading other reviews, I opted for the 6" belt rather than the 4" for more support. I also like the clasp feature for flexibility during workouts as I can loosen it and still keep it around my waste, rather than having to take it fully off and then have to waste time fumbling with it to put it back on. Good belt!

Not as good as the original one. This one looks the same but feels a lot cheaper. It’s hard to lock it up cause of how cheaply made it is. The Buckle is just cheap. Flimsy and makes it hard to tighteng it.

I got back to doing heavier full body lifts including squats and deadlifts and wanted a good, simple, effective belt that offered support and moderate comfort. This belt hit on all points.It is very light, has a good amount of padding to keep it comfortable, and can be adjusted better than a belt with holes. It has never slipped or shown any sign of stretching.

I use this for weight lifting and really like the cam-lock lever to lock it down as opposed to a typical belt loop and clasp
