Nice little badge holders. I was waiting to write a review until I saw how they held up. I bought some of these back in August, and had to throw the first kne away today. It lasted me about 9 months of daily use. I have my work badge on it, which needs to be scanned at every door I enter/exit. I estimate I pull on it about 40-50 times a day, so it has really held up well. I keep my toolbox keys on it also, so it has about a pound attached to it. For the price it is the best one I've found. Only downside is unlike others it does not have a screw together body to be able to repair it when it does break. But for the price, 2 in a box, 9 months each, I will order these again!

So much better! I have been using a nice one for years at work, where the cable wear out/break in 6 months. This one has a steel cable instead of nylon sheathed rope and feels much more substantial when you extend it. I picked up the four pack and gave the rest to my co workers. They love them

As a tall guy lanyards suck for trying to scan my badge so having a good retractable badge that comes with a badge holder is really important for me. The retractable wire is really tuff I have had no problems with is for a little over 4 months. It can be a little bulky on your hip while you’re walking around but for how easily it works and how long lasting it is I can’t stress enough how amazing this product is. A big thing for me too is it holds my badge tightly and I can still scan my badge through it. If your looking for a lanyard alternative or a new retractable one this is the one for you.

It worked great until it didn't for almost a year. It was getting stuck about 3 inches out and would go back in. I tried to pull it out and put some oil in it and then it stopped for good.

I use this for my badge at work. I have it clipped to my belt buckle . I work in a manufacturing plant and this thing goes thru it. Im very hard on it and it lasted me almost 2 years. The best one I've ever had. Im now buying for the second time. Highly recommend this item.

Great! After two years, it's still holding up great. I got it for my husband so he could attach scissors to the outside of his fishing bag. It's always exposed to salt elements and hasn't deteriorated!!!

I like to use this for my work badge and fob. Still in good condition and functioning as normal with the zip never getting stuck.

My only complaint is I like to clip my badge on my shirt or jacket collar. There is no way to attach securely. I’ll figure something out!
