Sulky Size-40 Embroidery Slimline Rayon Dream Assortment

I love, love, love my threads. This set has so many shades of thread I cannot imagine needing another color. The threads alone are inspiring of new projects. The case is very nice, but as others have pointed out, it is not as strong as it could be. I had to return the first one because it came badly broken. With Amazon it was very easy to make the exchange. I now know the weak points of the case and open it carefully because of the less than adequate "lock" system. I am also careful not to over bend the thread spindles as I remove and return the spools of thread. I strongly recommend this set if you can afford it because the case makes it easy to manage such a large selection of thread.

I have a Husquavarna Ruby sewing/embroidery machine. I like that the threads are labeled in their "slots" and that you can just push a tab and the spool comes out. I have my other Sulky threads in a spool/craft box and the larger spools on spool holders that are kept on a shelf above my machine. I love the concept of having the spools marked for me. I may purchase an empty spool box to store my other colors. The paper tabs are not written on and I can write the numbers on the tabs to make storage easier. If I do any embroidery at my quilting get togethers, I usually just bring the colors I need in a zip lock bag.

If you are just getting started in machine embroidery, this is the one to get. You don't have to stand at the store display trying to figure out what colors work for your project, you can do that while sitting at home and actually testing the colors.I use it to test and then purchase larger spools -- I keep the colors in this set always stocked (replaced when almost out) so I'm never without a color I might need for a quick-turn-around project. Buying in the set is a lot less per spool than buying one by one.

Sulky thread is great for my machine embroidery projects. This collection has a very nice spectrum of colors which is what I was looking for.

What an outstanding value! My embroidery machine is rather sensitive and suffers from a lot of thread breaks with lesser threads, but it loves Sulky. This is a great selection of gorgeous colors and the designs work up with few breaks and a beautiful luster.

Love Sulky thread, it's my favorite. This set I got as a starter when I bought my embroidery machine. It's got a great variety of colors!

The thread is perfect, however, your packaging stinks. the box would have held five or more of the product; the case holding the thread is broken, this does not hinder the thread, but it will prevent me from refilling the box as it will have to be discarded. I suggest you instruct the packers on how to package items.

Got these when they were on a really good deal. Hope Dream 2 is offered at the same deal. Sulky thread is the best in the market but expensive at regular price.
