As my existing photochromic glasses were becoming uncomfortable on bridge of nose, I was looking for another pair, and found these. Having seen negative reviews for other glasses on this site which lamented the lack of reaction to light in the lenses, I was not entirely confident, but I am glad to say that these glasses have performed laudably, and have proved much more comfortable to wear than my previous pair. In low light conditions, they can be worn without impeding vision (I wear them at night to protect eyes while biking), and in sunlight, they do darken to an appreciable degree. I have only used them in autumn, so cannot say whether they would be dark enough for blazing June sunlight - but in those circumstances I would probably wear permanently tinted dark glasses anyway.THe glasses come with a chunky case and inserts for prescription lenses (I do have some of these lenses, but found them impractical years ago, and so have not experimented with them in these glasses - using contact lenses instead). For my humble purposes, they do the job of protecting my eyes from wind, dust, and glare admirably, and for this purpose I would recommend them without hesitation.

Great Value Cycling Glasses
As a long-term glasses wearing cyclist, I bought these frames to replace my current Bolle Microedge 11 with prescription lenses. Once my prescription was fitted into the supplied frame, I gave them a go on what turned out to be a very cold ride. Very pleased to report there was no steaming up on the climbs or watering eyes on the decents to speak off.The frames are comfortable and light weight. The nose bridge is adjustable to a certain degree, which ensured a comfortable fit on my head.Time will tell if they're upto the job long term but, for the price I'm a happy customer. As an aside, my prescription cost £78 by my optician. This was for single vision distance lenses. My normal everyday glasses are varifocal. I didn't feel the need for reading in a pair of cycling glasses. However, if your doing orientation cycling with a paper map, you may want to add this cost into the equation.

Great value, comfort and looks
The photochromatic lenses actually worked. See attached pictures. The "before" was taken moments after a ride and the second picture was taken a little while after. whilst they did not react as quickly as a pair of photochromatic Oakley costing almost ten times the price of these, I feel that they did a great job and offered great value.Very comfortable too.

It's OK for the price
I haven't yet tested it in a very bright day (still waiting for the sun to shine hard) but it worked already a little by overcast days. They're too small to offer a real wind protection, especially when it's cold (you'll still get wet eyes).Because of the design, the edges of the glass have some pieces a bit distracting as they are visible on the edges of the peripheral vision - kind of like having pieces of clear tape stuck there. It came with a solid case and a thing pouch, and two set of plastic clips to change the colours of a little part on the branches: black fitted, silver and red as replacements. When used in the dark, it's vey clear and it doesn't impede the vision, no deformation either. No issue with the nose clip. I had to pinch it a bit to make it fit tighter. Those glasses are lightweight, so no issue with comfort.

Not Quite the All-Round Solution
On gorgeous days I have a pair of fixed tint sunglasses, for when I'm out on my bike. However, I wanted something that would work with the more typical, changeable conditions that make the British weather what it is. Photochromics are great for those overcast days, that brighten up and then die off again. In that respect, these are brilliant. The change in tint is very subtle as the light changes, so your eyes get used to a light level and the glasses seem pretty good at maintaining that level. The problem for me is that if the sun does come out properly, the lenses do not darken enough. It's a personal thing and I don't know the actual minimum transmission level, only that my fixed tints look darker. In terms of look, fit, and comfort - brilliant. These are a great pair of cycling glasses that come with the usual soft bag and cloth, plus a nicely shaped hard case. They are comfortable and lightweight.I was hoping for something that would be useful in all weather, and whilst these are great for those dull to light grey days, they are not a complete solution.

Good enough for price
Now days are getting darker I wanted some glasses to protect me from wind/rain and offer some sunlight protection. As I have a wide bridge I wanted an adjustable nose piece as well. These are quite comfortable but the arms are a little too large so sit on top of the headphones rather than besides. The lenses also refract some led headlight beams possibly due to lack of polarisation - it's just presented as smaller lights near the car and not too distracting. These niggling aspects aside, they sit close to the face, don't impede visibility and protect my eyes are required. They do tint slightly as well.If you're a casual cyclist who wants a cheap pair of cycling glasses for fair/poor weather then these will do the job. If you want a Photochrommatic polarised pair of higher quality then I suggest you pay more.
