Helly-Hansen 50845 Women's Daybreaker 1/2 Zip Fleece Pullover Jacket

People complained about this being too thin but I think its very nice quality. I bought it to ski in and its the perfect weight to wear with a thin base layer under and a jacket over, not too thin, but not thick and bulky either. Its much more substantial than the Columbia Glacial fleece, which was paper thin, and even a bit thicker than my Spyder shimmer bug fleece. I'm ultimately returning it b/c of fit. HH runs small, so finding that perfect fit can be hard, I suggest you size up. But the quality is very nice. I wish it had fit better.

The color is grossly misleading. The Sunrise is definitely orange (ORANGE!) I love the fit and quality. I ordered the Summer red thinking it would be red. Nope. It is orange too. Just a little different not quit as orange but defiantly or orange not red. When I went to send it back I didn't notice I it was not from Amazon so I didn't have free return. I am keeping it because it just not worth the cost of sending it bak. Both the colors would look wonderful on darker skin. It just not for blue eyed lighter skin and if you hate orange as much as I do don't either on of these items Sunrise or Summer red. These jacket must be made in a country where they love the more orange color because there is no way that Summer red is even close to red. Hope this helps someone make a decision about ordering. Also, make sure it is through Amazon or you going to pay shipping if you have return it. I will not purchase again colors are too risky.

I have several of these fleece tops. The fit is outstanding! I'm 5 6" 113 lbs but have fairly broad shoulders. The small is perfect! Sleeves long enough ( even after washing) to hit mid top of hand, bit below hip length, fitted but not " molded" fit in torso. Stand up very well to my warm wash / dryer regime FOR EVERYTHING I own without fading, excessive pilling, or shrinking like north face.Oddly enough the black one I have seems to collect less of the white hair from my 125 lb malamute than all other brands except Jack Wolfskin.

Nice and warm and comfy. I'm 5'7" and 150 pounds, the large fits me perfectly. Sleeves and lenght are long enough.

I have a ton of these type of tops from many of the major manufacturers. This is small and not soft. The fabric crunches like a cheap fleece blanket. It is no where near as soft as Northface fleece. fit wise, it is quite small. I bought a large (which I wear in most brands) and this barely covers my stomach. It is short and small. DefinitelyOrder up a size. There is no way I could wear another shirt layered under this. I am 5'8" size 12 and it barely reaches my waist to give you an idea. On my 5'7" Size 6 daughter, it still looks short.

Lightweight & very soft fleece! I bought this to use as a mid-layer, over a thinner base layer and underneath a heavy rain coat. I am 5'4/110lbs. with a straight body type and ordered a Small. It is generously cut through the body, so easy to wear either 1 or 2 base layers underneath. It is a nice easy relaxed fit without looking boxy. I like how it is nice and long for warmth and no worries about it riding up in the back. Also, the back is little longer than the front. I chose the color Rock--which is a beautiful medium gray with cool undertones.

A thick but lightweight fleece. Definitely not thin. Does run small...I usually wear a small in LLBean stuff but went to a medium in this--could have maybe used a large.

I wear a large in almost every brand and I had to order a XXL in this! So bizarre. The XXL is baggy, which I prefer to the XL which hit above my waist (I'm 5'3) and was snug in my chest (36DD). The XXL is too long in the torso for my short stature but at least it fits everywhere else, particularly in the arm length.That being said, this is my favorite fleece I own. The material is very thin but incredibly warm and I've been living in this ever since I bought it. Just purchased one for my mom for Christmas - she's wearing the XL, but is a medium/large in everything else.
